If you look at Jamal Adams' stats from last year, they look pedestrian. You know stats don't tell the whole story, as he went 6th overall.
Minkah had 2 great years of play and that has garnered the respect of offenses not throwing his way. He is still very active making plays and has been forced into a larger blitzing role due to LB injuries.
And even with those "down" stats, he is on track to have a better statistical season than Adams...

I can't think of anybody that I would trade Jake Fromm State Farm for
he may not be the best player in the SEC; but again, there is no one on any SEC roster that I would trade him for today

Well QB is the most important position and so far he is the best QB this year. So you have a point. That doesn't make him the best player, though.

I don’t know if he is necessarily the best player right now but Kirk has been the best player the Hogs have faced for three straight years IMO.
