And why is it Ole Miss?

Double digit threads started by LSU fans trashing Ole Miss.

It used to be Ole Miss back in the early-mid 1900s, but then your program fell off of the map. I think most LSU fans prefer when Ole Miss has a heart beat so the victory doesn't ring quite as hollow.

Not Ole Miss, I consider Ole Miss about on the same level as maybe Tulane.

Ole Miss is more like a Mountain West or a Conference USA team as far as challenge for LSU.

“Trashing Ole Miss” = simply reminding Ole Miss of who they are

Maybe the threads are because...we play you this weekend?

Series History: 65-42-4, soon to be 66-42-4

Quick Google Search: "The LSU Tigers have several geographic and conference rivals. LSU's main rival is Arkansas, as the two squads play each other for the famed Golden Boot trophy. LSU also has SEC rivalries with the Auburn Tigers, the Florida Gators, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the Texas A&M Aggies."

And if LSU wins, that’ll be 7 of the last 8 games for the Tigers.

SWIDT?

Ole Miss has beaten LSU more than any other team than Alabama.

I didn’t grow up with the LSU/Ole Miss rivalry but I’ve enjoyed the company of every Rebel/Black Bear/Land Shark I’ve kicked it with.

Good people.
