McMath will be LSU’s version of Ruggs this year, except he will put up better numbers. Book it. Lots of people sleeping on him.

Good luck with that. Ruggs was the 1st receiver taken in the draft and put up 750 yards and 11 TDs his sophomore year . McMath is a senior and hasn’t done shite

Bama is second, will have to see how Smith handles being the #1 option. We know what Chase can do as the #1 already....

How do you define #1? Both Smith and Chase were #2 on their team in receptions behind Jeudy and Jefferson respectively.

He’s your backup QB. Bryce Young is our backup QB.

it never ceases to amaze me how stupid people are. go watch his throws from last season. he made some really good throws. he's going to be more than serviceable and that's all lsu needs with the weapons at skill positions

Small sample size but Brennan has completed 60% of his collegiate passes.

Which is about the average for LSU quarterbacks not named Mettenberger or Borrow since 2008.

At least he's proven. Mac Jones completed almost 69% of his throws last year in significant action against quality competition.

Correct, but many more attempts than the others had with many more weapons. I think Brennan will scorch many secondaries. People forget he has been here for 3 full years and sat and watched maybe the best ever at LSU.

The difference is Alabama has 2 QB's that can get the ball to them. Nobody is sure if Brennan can hit the broad side of a barn.

Bryce Young is proven by Brennan is not?

I would not say Alabama has any proven quarterbacks. You have a true freshman and a guy that played a few games, and not well.

I love Chase and think Marshall gets overlooked but Gilbert and Boutte have not even played a snap yet.

Linehan plus Gilbert = Mackey Award Watch List

Even the Mackey Award folks can smell it.

This is the kind of top level analysis that I come to this board for.
