If (and you didn’t) Gumps had such great WRs along with Tuna, why didn’t you make the playoffs last year?
I hear nothing but flatulence from you Gumps
The numbers (TDs, Yardage, YAC, pff stats) do not support your Ludicrous claims!
We have the Best 3 WRs (on NFL Radar) and we have the best incoming Freshmen.
And we have the best TE.
Your claims are “Gumpfounded”

Well he was behind 3 NFL receivers. 1 that was drafted in the first round and 2 that are projected in the first round. He was also ahead of 2 receivers that signed with the NFL.
Marshall is projected in the first round?

He played basically 3.5-4 games.
He actually played closer to 5 games btw. He played more top defenses in his 4 starts than some QBs (Lawrence) played in an entire season

You are bragging about a game (Auburn) where he literally lost the game for his team and threw 2 Pick Sixes,
He literally didn’t lose us the game. Our defense lost us the game.

and comparing that to Joe Burrow's worst game of the year (which was still very good)
So Mac’s worst game of the year > Joe’s worst game of the year?
Mac: 26/39 for 335 yards, 4 TDs, and 2 INT.
89.8 QBR, 162.4 passer rating
Joe: 32/42 for 322 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
85.0 QBR, 143.5 passer rating

There was a thread on Tiger Rant a while back with a mock that had him in the first round. I'm sure there are others that don't have him in.

There’s also mocks that have Josh Jobe in the first round. It really means nothing uless you are consistently projected in the first round

The difference is Alabama has 2 QB's that can get the ball to them. Nobody is sure if Brennan can hit the broad side of a barn.
So the Alabama freshman is a sure thing while Brennan is an unknown.
Ok.

How do you define #1? Both Smith and Chase were #2 on their team in receptions behind Jeudy and Jefferson respectively.
Probably by yards, TDs and awards won. Hence why Chase is LSU’s #1. Actually, he’s the nation’s #1.

You really fired up the coonasses with this one

Mac Jones completed almost 69% of his throws last year in significant action against quality competition.
Higher than that if you count the ones Auburn caught.

I always appreciate this type of reasoning for a dumbass statement.

LSU and BAMA are clearly at the top of the SEC. Lets compare the two:
1. Ja'marr Chase
2. DeVonta Smith
3. Terrace Marshall
4. Jaylen Waddle
5. Racey McMath
——
Lacking adequate college snaps to evaluate
The following rankings are based on a function of high school evaluation and seniority
——
6. Tyrell Shavers
7. Arik Gilbert
8. Kayshon Boutte
9. Trey Palmer
10. Xavier Williams
I would have to give the nod to LSU. Its close at the top but LSU has a clear edge further down the depth chart thanks to solid incoming freshmen.

Now do best games.

Mac Jones is still on Alabama's roster. Joe Burrow is now in the NFL. And Mac Jones's best game (against SEC competition) was against Arkansas. He finished 18-22 for 235 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 INTs. His best game overall was against Western Carolina where he finished 10-12 for 275 yards and 3 TDs. No one is arguing that he is going to break Burrow's records. However, he has proven himself to be capable of holding his own as his stats proved last year. In four starts he threw for 1,172 yards, 13 TDs, and 3 INTs.

If Brennan does 70% of what Burrow did we’ll be a force.
Big “if” though
