You want us to trash a QB making his 1st ever career start in one of the most hostile environments in the nation? I don’t think he’s going to be the greatest QB every or anything like that. But you have to look at his whole performance. He did throw a decent amount of yards and TDs as well.
Both his INTs (2nd one the blame should also go on the FB completely whiffing on his block) are metal errors that are very much correctable. I think he’s capable of being a solid QB. Not an All American or anything but still more than enough to win games.

Man, don’t sleep on Brennan. Nobody will ever replicate what’s Burrow did but if it clicks for him he is going to make LSU’s offense pretty damn good. He has the talent and tools to really make it a special season.

What else they got at QB after bragging all day about their QB TREASURE TROVE.
I hope Sabah benches Jones and baptizes the Cali - Golden Baw while he’s still a runt and a deer in the headlights. It’s gonna be better than watching Brittle Tuna or a Samuel Jackson Mr Glass movie with Bruce Willis.

Dude, did you even watch the game?
The second pick six wasn’t his fault.
He played well enough to win. Even after he threw the second one he came right back with a TD to give us the lead. Our defense then got marched up the field by Bo Nix and gave up a TD.
Mac then had to drive up the field and set up a game tying field goal...

What rumors? He was our 5th receiver last year as a true freshman and beat out Shavers, Townsend, Williams, etc.
I would expect an LSU fan to not base their evaluations solely on high school rankings

Time will tell. Plus, admittedly, Oklahoma's WR's are young this season. Not sure if anyone has as many 5 star WR's as OU right now. We also snagged the #1 overall WR in the nation last year.
Add to that the #1 dual threat QB in the nation.
