And that was countered by showing that Bama had the better defense against conference opponents. Bama was better in 2011, back to 2012.

LSU will have the better pass D, Bama will have the better run D, LSU will force more TOs, Bama will allow less points.

Without reading a single post, I'll assume this entire thread has become a bama/LSU pissing match.

Man, I hate the off season.

Nope. We don't know who will field the better defense.

To answer the OP, it will be alabama likely until nick saban retires.

Lsu will be a close second and georgia a distant third

Everyone understands alabama will dropoff some. What most fail to comprehend is that they can dropoff exponentially and still have the best defense in the country. Spare me the alabama replaces too many starters line, the guys filling in have played a pile of football at alabama. The defense last year was the GOAT, and alot of the guys that contributed to that were returning. LSU and alabama are both losing 3 key contributors in the secondary and return 2 guys that have played a ton of football (mathiee reed/lester milliner) so that's a wash. Both return basically the same dline and alabama returns a lot more talented experience at linebacker.

Yet this doesn't have anything to do as to why Bama will field a good defense, especially considering I think as of right now it is a tie and I have no fricking clue who'll field a better D. How the frick did you get "2010 means 2012 will be better" out of that?

Your D was better, but you're delusional.

You forgot Simon. Though two of their main six haven't seen the college field, and all six of all our main six have, except Belue saw JUCO action.
