Of course people will laugh at this thread, but the real answer is it depends on the situation Burrow goes to.
Lock has star quality, young WR and TE...and with Denver already having the skill positions stocked they can draft OL early and often. He’s in a pretty good spot.
Burrow will probably end up in Cincy and be in for a lengthy rebuild

God...LSU fans are the absolute fricking worst.
Burrow is the greatest QB in the history of the game of football and LSU would easily stomp any NFL team. Any fan of any opposing team would be lucky to let LSU fans piss in their mouths just to taste the greatness. Is that better???

Show the stats of the previous QB and his record before Lock took over.
Flacco 1822 yards 6 TDs 5 INTs 7.0 YPA 85.1 RTG 65% (8 games)
Lock 1020 yards 7 TDs 3 INTs 6.5 YPA 89.7 RTG 64.1 % (5 games)
Look pretty damn similar to me And wouldn't it be fair to say Flacco dealt with the same poor OL as Lock did? And why are you making excuses for Lock but using the same criteria as to why Burrow will be bad because he was good in college?

Who said Burrow would be bad? I don’t think anyone believes that

I get the Cincy bad rap thing well because we are the worst run franchise in sports. But in regards to quarterbacks Carson Palmer and Andy Dalton had multiple great seasons here.
Cleveland is worse.

So a rookie Drew Lock, is just as good as veteran Joe Flacco already?
Seems to me Lock is doing just fine.

Quit trying to be relevant.

Lock because he was blessed to play in Denver and not on some other lesser team.

How about Missery fans just stop trying to compare a QB who had a losing record in CFB to the one who just went 15-0 and set just about every record there is.
No one gives a shite that Drew Lock lit up a bunch of shitty teams in college or that he had a pedestrian first 5 starts of his career.

NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR COLLEGE RECORD IN THE NFL

That's weird considering the only reason Lock is being compared to Burrow is because of that one season he had in college.

With a QBR of 48.3, which is sixth worst in the league.
Lock had the 2nd highest single game QBR rating of the season. 2nd only to lamar jackson.

If College was all that mattered, Manziel would be an NFL Hall of Famer, but he's not, instead he's playing in some Penal League.

College careers are the only thing we have to use in this discussion. Combined, Lock and Burrow have started 5 NFL games.

Lock is in a pretty good situation, though Denver will have a new OC next year. Burrow is going to a crap team, unless Cincinatti trades down for some reason
