Who gets your vote for SEC coach of the year?

Les Miles, purely on interview quality.

Good one. Seriously, if we get one more first down against you people, we are #2 in the country right now, and Les would be just as good a candidate as any.
Conversely, Miles pussied out and didn't go for that last first down, so he doesn't deserve COTY

Sumlin is the only answer that makes any sense, assuming A&M beats Mizzou. Freeze, Muschump, and Franklin did well with their teams this year, but nobody exceeded expectations more than A&M.

He's made them so much more competitive than last year. I could see Sumlin but I can't put Franklin over either. It's the Coach of the Year award, not the Coach of Two Years award.

1.Sumlin - if they close with a W over Mizzou he will win it on the strength of the Bama W.
2. Franklin - Incedible job this season after a 1-3 start to be sitting at 7-4 with Wake left is impressive, still holding out hope we somehow can sneak. Into the Gator Bowl.

Sumlin , nobody saw that coming from A&M. Having JM certainly was a big factor, but they have far exceeded expectations and did beat Bama on the road.

Sumlin by a long-shot. He took an unranked team and put them in the top 5 in his first year, in the SEC west.
