Who enjoys a sport more between fans of blue bloods or good but not great programs?

People (college football fans) love watching blue bloods play even if it’s only to root against them. My humble opinion

Just one game comes to mind, 1977 bama at home against UGA which finished 5-7. After game, won by bama 18-10, Ga student walking down the street yelling to many quiet, sullen bama students “Why so quiet? Ya’ll won.” Does the thrill of victory dim with prolonged success? What say you?

It does, I took the Michigan game for granted because we always won. It became no fun. When they finally beat us and begin their own streak, Harbaugh flees from a scandal, and we win the national title before we beat them again, again took the fun out of it.

I cannot remember the last time I was excited by a regular season game. Perhaps the beginning of the Urban era.

I think for some people, if you watch the sport long enough, you become a fan of the sport, not just your favorite team...

I like watching the top matchups regardless of conference or status
