Isn't Bailey transferring when Pruitt is fired? Maybe the better question here is who isn't starting a new QB next year ...

Pruitt is likely getting another year. The guys that have transferred so far have been guys recruited by Jones or looking for playing time. So far Morris is the only sorta surprise honestly.

Chandler was passed over and a SR

Johnson was solid at times but penalized too much and a SR

Buchanan Is honestly a high medical risk. Great player but sat the last 2 seasons with bone density issues in his spine

JT Shrout cannon arm no touch. Lost the QB battle

Pope oft injured SR

Guarantano 5th year SR well documented QB

The young core of the team is staying

Off the top of my head

A&M
Arkansas
Alabama
Florida
Kentucky

Georgia should run away with the East. The west may be anyone's game depending on how new guys develop.

Rogers seemed like he played better than Costello - at least in the TAMU game.

But it never works that way. They always find to lose a couple games.

Will Rogers for State

I thought Rodgers showed amazing ability for a true freshman.

Not if he actually wants to get drafted he won't. The new "flavor of the month" is at Texas. How did the last OC from a "championship" team work out for them?

Different year, same spin. Similar results. Sarkisian cannot fix what is wrong with Texas, because he's just a puppet of the boosters that hired him. Will be interesting to see if Thompson or Card starts for them next year

Most likely we'll be starting Bryce Young.

It's not all his fault but I am not looking forward to it until I hear he gets some off-season improvement.

He did not impress at all in the few spots where he got to throw in games this year.

Isn't Nussmeier a true fish? Like this recruiting class? I'd expect it to be Johnson

Yes.

I'd bet Nussmeier redshirts, Brennan starts, Johnson is the backup, and Finley transfers.

I don't know why you would start Brennan. LSU played much better with Johnson - they actually had some fire on the field

Brennan sees the field better and can make all the throws.

Could see Johnson being a situational player though.

Brennan lost to MSU didn't he? Some QB's have talent, and others just make everyone around them better. Brennan is not the second.

Please, by all means, I hope you start Brennan. It would be great for the rest of the SEC

They gave up 44 points. Not sure how thats Brennan's fault.

The team as a whole was playing better later in the season, in the early games the offensive line was dog shite and there was no running game. LSU receivers also dropped some of the most passes of anyone in the country.

I'm uncertain why you think Brennan is the second coming - is it because he backed up Burrow? A&M has a similar situation with Calzada and King. Calzada has a rocket arm and all the physical tools, but he isn't expected to be the starter.

Intangibles matter.
