Sounds like a good zinger, but I was referring to the fact that when someone says a team beat the #10 team in an away game, everyone will point out that the team ended the year ranked #22 so it isn't a win against a top ten team.
I'm sure it sounded good in your head, but it is about as relevant when that shmuck said "I knew JFK, sir, and you are no JFK." in a debate when nothing previous had involved or mentioned JFK. Just sounded clever on its own.
