Of the 16 SEC schools in 2025, 15 are money-makers. I’ll predict that Vandy will voluntarily leave the conference rather than put up the mega-millions needed to compete in a super-conference.

All the others are already set for competition. We’ll probably wind up with 20-24 southern schools in the SEC and any additions will have to meet the standards of the 15 in 2025.

I believe you are right about Vanderbilt. They will do the right thing and step aside. I believe there will be some debate about having 2 teams from small populated states.

Nobody gets kicked out, this move shows it's open warfare between the SEC and Big 10, and we're heading towards one becoming the NFC and the other the AFC.

If you view it like that (the NFL conferences), you then go to the NFL divisions; and you'd like to keep "geographic rivalries" in your divisions. A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas (just for example) would be a feisty division. OU likely the football favorite, Arky the basketball favorite, but all 4 could emerge.

Mizzou getting kicked out... remember what I said about it being open warfare? There's a school relatively new to the Big 10 that wasn't very happy; Nebraska. Do they bring a lot? No, not beyond history at this point, but they'd probably enjoy renewing the rivalries with Mizzou and Oklahoma, and it would be a great big frick YOU for the SEC to pull a team away from the Big 10.

So, your strategy is to eliminate teams that challenge your mediocrity

That would make it 14 teams then because they all have been mediocre aside from Alabama and Georgia.

This entire thread proves that Texas 8 & 4 fans and Vol fans are the most insecure in the nation.

For all the money a school like A&M has, schools like Bama and LSU and FLorida would still vote A&M out in a heartbeat over Miss st or Ole Miss

Just so I have this straight, y'all are under the impression that the other kids in the club just get together and have a secret vote in the treehouse and the kids they don't like are gone?

There might be a contract provision problem or two with that. What do y'all do for a living, 'cause it ain't business related.

SEC won’t kick out charter members

Laugh all you guys want, but nothing is set in stone anymore. If USC can be in the same conference as Rutgers, then the SEC can kick out Miss St and Vandy to make room for Clemson and FSU.

We are entering a new era of 100+ million per year per school in tv rights. The SEC and Big Ten are not going to allow total freeloaders. If I'm Purdue, Northwestern, Vandy, or Miss St, I wouldn't feel 100% secure right now.

Why does Aggie keep posting this trash. Maybe some kind of PTSD from the Big 12.

We’re not kicking anyone out.

SEC should kick the Faggies out now that we have the only school in Texas that matters.

Also 4 of the 5 schools you listed have won a national championship more recently than Texas 8&4. Your arrogance is fricking laughable.

So? There are makers and there's takers. Miss schools are basically welfare leeches.

Instead of insulting us you should be thanking us, on a bended knee for allowing y'all to remain relevant

Hmm A&M finished top 4 like a year ago in football.

Dumbass.

When was the last time you beat A&M in football anyway? Genuinely curious.
