Why? There's nothing about your university that represents this state. Your mascot is a damn glorified lawn ornament surrounded by a bunch of fake cowboys. You belong in California.

Damn, Daniel - don’t start crying on me Listen, I’m sorry that you not getting into Texas turned you into a reprehensible bigot. I’m also sorry that I was smart enough to do what you were incapable of doing.

Lol I actually have a job in downtown austin, which makes y’all’s comments regarding homelessness in austin even more hilarious because I actually live here and have a completely different experience.

But I don’t completely blame you: I’d also say whatever popped into my head to feed a desperate narrative if my school was the one so embarrassingly dwarfed in this rivalry

Aggies root for granddaddy Bama.

Next question.

It’s not a narrative.
You’re either intentionally oblivious or blind.

From three days ago: Austin Still Struggling To Find Places For Homeless People As It Begins Enforcing Public Camping Ban (KUT.org)

Count me amongst those Texians who hopes Austin is successful in addressing the issue.

Christina Jezzizki hugs her friend Elizabeth outside her tent in front of Austin City Hall.
quote:

Clusters of tents and shelters are still evident next to busy roads and beneath overpasses around the city. And three months after voters approved a renewed ban on camping in public spaces through a ballot initiative called Proposition B, the city says it will begin to fully enforce the ordinance this week.

After weeks of working to educate people experiencing homelessness about the ordinance and handing out warnings, city officials say police will begin ticketing anyone camping on public land — and arresting those who still refuse to leave their camps. Violating the ban is a Class C misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of up to $500.

I'm shocked the guy touting a Texas Independence website in his signature on a college football forum would root against a team from the state he wishes was it's own nation.

I'm not shocked that an alter doesn't know that EKG is a woman. Then again, BASEKetball portrayed your kind perfectly.

Not really sure why this triggers you.

Not triggered. Just laughing at how pathetic you are because you're mad our school is better than yours

quote:
I just don't like the school and there are a lot of better options if they have the academics to get into Texas, especially since they go to a highly competitive HS in Austin so if they are Top 6% they can go damn near anywhere (both of my sons are in good shape). I think Texas is a good school but I don't like the values they represent. I don't like the campus or how much Downtown Austin has turned into a homeless encampment and cops are too scared to enforce the law. They wouldn't even gain from much of a new experience since they grew up in suburban Austin. I don't need them to be turned into little liberal bots that hate America either.

I went to this school and in the four years I attended, I had zero of the social experiences you mentioned above.

Holy crap our school is so easy to trigger you people

You just seem awfully sensitive that not everyone thinks Texas is the greatest school on the face of the Earth and everyone wants to go there.

I had the grades for either but Texas had no appeal to me. I grew up an Aggie and I never cared for Texas.

If you live in Austin and work Downtown but somehow have missed all the homeless people I don't know what to tell you. The ordinance has helped some but it doesn't look like the same place from a few years ago. I used to work Downtown and loved it but screw that now. Last couple times I went down there I was getting accosted and you could smell the shite.

Assaults on the Texas campus are also way up, you have to really be careful. It's right next to all the homeless and they wander over.

A&M has gotten more Woke than I care for but Texas has gone completely off the deep end, hell you even have 2 bands now so you don't have to play your Alma Mater. It was always liberal but now its just flat out leftist.

Like I said, I recognize the academics and it's a good school. Know plenty of good folks that went there. I just don't want my kids going there as there and it doesn't fit them either. There are plenty of other great options out there that are as good or better than Texas academically and far superior culturally.

So a&m is so "rough tough, real stuff" that you just admitted to being a terrified baby of a random homeless person you come across? (which you far overstated, but I get your desperation to paint us in a bad light since your own team or pathetic school was never capable of doing the same)

far superior culturally.
Nothing says "culture" like cultish practices, squeezing your own groin at football games, friday night pep rallies for adults, worshipping a dog and male cheerleaders, and coming up with super cool, and in no way childish, nicknames about the school down the road that you couldn't get into during your cult brainwashing, which is marketed as "fish camp". Your kids are going to love it

Pointing out that they’re present — in response to a poster saying homelessness in ATX is “a desperate narrative” — is not making fun of anyone.
