Why would the team that's 2-2 in the SEC West go after the coach that's ... 2-2 in the SEC West ?

We've got so much research into genetics, what with cloning a sheep named dolly (yes, we do have a sense of humor about the whole bestiality thing) to the maroon carrot, only ethics has prevented our human cloning project, but no more. We cloned Vince Lombardi back in 2003. He is already a sophomore at A&M, and is so advanced that he will be a GA under Jimbo soon, so you better get Jimbo fast before it's too late.

Exactly what I’ve been saying too.

May have been mentioned. If so, I agree.

In the unlikely event Jimbo leaves, I’d say promote Elko to head coach and go find a great offensive coordinator. Probably the only way to get him to stay. If he’s not gone next year it’ll definitely be the year after.

That’s okay.

Ed O made 1.7 million in bonuses alone from his national title season.
It makes sense why you guys have to build it in to the salary. You’re coaches don’t accomplish much

Must suck to lose to a team that doesn’t accomplish much. We’ve already done that twice this season, so I can confirm it does suck.

Ive said it in other threads. If I'm LSU, I'm interviewing Coach Price out of A&M. Recruits, and players love him. He's been great. He's been here since Sumlin

other words, for every million per year your salary is, it's worth $38,000 less PER MILLION in Louisiana than it is in Texas.

Well yeah, but College Station is a coaching black hole that not even Bear Bryant could win in.

What's that worth?

Bryant won the SWC and was undefeated in '56 and was undefeated and ranked #1 in '57 when he announced he was going to Bama and then the team tanked.

Lots of coaches have won at A&M if you count conference titles. Sherrill and Slocum won a bunch. They just didn't get a Natty.

I can't imagine Jimbo leaves A&M but anything can happen. If he does we will be fine though, we don't lack for resources and the AD is fully committed to doing whatever it takes to win in terms of finances.

Exactly what I’ve been saying too.

I don't think the move would make a lot of sense on either side, but I also wouldn't want my AD making big decisions based on a 4-game sample size.

It does suck. Which is why we are actively trying to fix it. You wouldn’t understand though, because you’ve settled for “decent”.

But hey if you’re content with just cherry picking the (few) times you’ve beaten LSU since you’ve been in the SEC, then have at it.. I guess..

Reading comprehension must be taught on the same day as livestock sex at A&M and you could only make the one class.....
