In order for LSU to provide Fisher more take home income than he currently gets at A&M, they would have to raise his current salary by $361,000 per season over what it currently is beginning in 2022.

Do you not understand that they pay O millions more per year than y'all pay Jimbo?

WTF have you been?

LSU is not interested and sure he isn’t

Why would we want a coach who has won nothing, lost at Home to a team a bad LSU team who just fired its coach beat the week before? After just losing to Arkansas

Just because of a fluke win against Bama ?

Aggie loves their coach, we don’t want their coach
Everyone is happy with him right where he is at.
This is not saying he is a bad coach either BUT his conference record right now is the same as the coach LSU just fired….
Makes no sense for either party…

For the record I think it is unlikely he leaves but the media is really pushing this narrative. You cant go to any sports site today without someone using it for clickbait.

This is the same media that claims "texas is BACK" every year and every year is proven dead arse wrong.

It's wishcasting masquerading as reporting. The literal definition of "fake news".

Example:

A&M fires Mike Sherman in 2011

Media: How DARE YOU!

t.u. fires Mack Brown in 2013

Media: it was long overdue

A&M hires Jimbo Fisher in 2017

Media: How DARE Fisher leave Florida State for a lesser program

Media bias. You're just an example.

Same as when some dipshit on ESPN states "College Football NEEDS Florida State to be good again."

No, it doesn't.

As an Aggie, I can’t see why lsu would want Jimbo. Objectively speaking, theyre firing a more successful coach. Fisher makes zero sense, outside of him and your AD working together previously. Which is a weak lead. Same league, same division, less achievement, but somehow they’d pay him more to come join? Just doesn’t line up.

Before some fellow Aggie calls me an alter…just think about it logically. Outside of him and the AD having some history, it’s a senseless hire from LSU’s point of view. It would be like us firing Jimbo for the sole purpose of hiring Mike Leach as his replacement

I think Woodward will talk to Jimbo just in the sense of a coaching search and considering multiple candidates. But I don't think there is any serious discussion.

I was with you until the last part.

It would be like firing Jimbo to hire Mack Brown.

Said Florida 2 days ago. LSU has talent. They never run out of that. Just the leadership part.

Jimbo isn’t going anywhere. Unless he retires. He’s getting great money. He is getting close to putting it all together with his program. He’s coaching at the largest richest school presen. College Station is a great place to live.
