Who can A&M actually reasonably hire that will be a home run hire?

What I mean is not day dreaming about how Kirby or whoever is coming. Who is the best realistic hire for them?
1) That entire team is about to absolutely gutted Pate said they could have 30 TRANSFER PORTAL ENTERS.
2) Someone who can adapt to modern football, delegate properly like all the best do (see saban kirby etc) while he focuses on rebuilding it
3) Someone who can build a culture there that the true players have like UGA Bama OSU etc
Who would this person be? Is it possible? I’d say maybe Glen Schumann. Potentially Dukes coach whose names escapes me

We won't have 30 starters transfer. We should keep the big names. I'd say Elko is the best realistic hire.

Every realistic possibility is a crapshoot except Urban Meyer.

I don't know if it would be considered a home run but someone will grab JMU's coach soon enough. Just looking at his wiki he's currently 50-8 at JMU. He's 118-34 overall, with 17 of those losses coming at his first gig at IUP where he was 53-17.

To be fair he said up to 30, didn’t limit it to starters, but said he didn’t expect that just it’s possible

Sorry. It's just, that makes it sound like we're going to have another exodus like we didn't have last year.

This is an extremely fair point

Schuman has never been a head coach. This is not a thing, frick off, and delete your post.

You lost like 24 players last year...

What is Oregon ranked? I’ll wait but I imagine I’ll be waiting a long damn time

Yes he is. Friendly tip: Google "duke head coach" to find the guy.

Thanks for the reply. Along with the rudeness.

I think Mike Elko would be the best/safest hire for a variety of reasons.
Schumman may be great but he has zero head coaching experience, that works out sometimes (ala Kirby) but often doesn't.
Elko already knows a lot about the A&M landscape and could retain a lot of the good pieces.

Ugasickem,
How is Oregon doing this year? Who is their coach? Is it his first job? Who trained him

I wasn't trying to be rude, td01241. I was trying to think of a way to say that in a non-rude way. I apologize.
