That league would have cancelled last season over Covid.

Pretty stout conference. At that point we just consume the ACC and you have two Mega Conferences

Replace Kansas and Iowa with Texas & Oklahoma in that Midwest pod.. and you can see another reason why the SEC would be motivated to make this move.

That's foolish talk. The only SEC member I see potentially leaving is Missouri, and only because they are new and wanted the Big 10 originally. I still doubt that happens.

The ACC needs to go big, or not only will they fail to grow, but will lose members and shrink.

Agree but they won’t. Base case scenario I think is some miracle of securing ND permanently and somehow getting OSU in some fallout from the covid decisions, but it’s ridiculously unlikely. They’ll shite the bed and the best team they add would be WVU.

Dude with Texas and OU in the conference what’s clearer than ever before is SC will NEVER win anything of importance. Spurrier years are the best run in program history today and will be 100 years from now.

You made that bed when you added Louisville.

Syracuse and Pitt are the worst decisions.

No way in hell. We can recruit Ohio so well because we offer the kids that Ohio State overlooks or under recruits a chance to play in the SEC.

Kentucky has been in the SEC since it formed in 1933 and before that in the Southern Conference with many of the same teams. We aren't leaving that.

I don't really care about what a bunch of 18-22 year olds are doing on a field. Nothing that happens is in my control and who the frick cares if my favorite team is 1-11 or 11-1. I certainly don't. Damn I'm glad I'm not in my twenties any more when I gave way too much of a damn about something I have no control over.

I'd say the odds are low obviously, but if Kansas joined as well you would have a basketball superconference that would be very pleasing to UK fans. Plus their football team would be much more competitive in the B10 than playing a murders row East schedule of Bama, AU, GA, FL, TN every year.

I never thought I would see the day Maryland left the ACC either (also a founding member), but it happened.

ACC to Big 10 is a huge upgrade, with double the payout.

SEC to Big 10 is a wash financially, and a huge change culturally.

Because it's a great way to kill time at work. Guess how much I posted here when I worked at home for a year during COVID? Yep you guessed it, never.

I get my job done so efficiently that I always have free time, while my co workers take a week to do what I can do in half a day.
