LSU will be heavy on experience, especially on Offensive and Defensive Lines, which were a major issue last year. With their help along with the skill players and new schemes, I like LSU’s chance to repeat as National Champions this year. Even though Alabama will likely be the favorite, I’m probably just biased.

All I know about returning to Alabama is Bryce Young and John Metchie. I’ll bet true freshman and former LSU commit JoJo Earle will be a threat. Plus, I’m sure there is a stable of big, fast, ridiculous running backs and linebackers, per usual.

This is the first offseason that not one team, unit or player comes to mind outside of LSU and Alabama.

Auburn?

Georgia?

Texas A&M?

Florida?

We playing ball this fall?

LSU is only a threat in their fans minds. They have brand new coordinators on both offense and defense, which is usually the last move before a coach is fired.

West will be a dogfight as usual. The East will come down to FL/UGA yet once again. Any questions?

If Georgia can avoid anymore losses in the Wr group. They are head and shoulders above anyone in the East.

I like Texas A&M the out West if they can solify their QB position.

Well since they weren't the National Champions last year it is impossible for them to repeat as National Champions this year.

Not saying Mizzou is going to be great, but we have a really favorable schedule to stack some wins.

Not the end-all metric, but here's at least a good indicator of current team talent (not counting injuries or transfers, obviously):

ha. It's often humorous to see an uneducated fellow try to appear to be erudite.

Notwithstanding doesn't mean what you think it does.

That aside, here is a list of national champions... according to ncaa.com

The past 10 noted below.
2020 Alabama CFP
2019 LSU CFP
2018 Clemson CFP
2017 Alabama CFP
2016 Clemson CFP
2015 Alabama CFP
2014 Ohio State CFP
2013 Florida State BCS
2012 Alabama BCS
2011 Alabama BCS
