I think Alabama's loss to Auburn was worse. Much worse.

It was certainly cheaper as a Bama fan to go to Auburn and lose the Iron Bowl than it was for an Auburn fan to go to California and lose the Championship. Thankfully, I have never gone to a Championship game where we lost. That must hurt pretty bad. To pay all of that money and not get to celebrate.

Do you realize that every thread you post pertaining to Alabama has some reference to Auburn's inferior national status in comparison to Alabama(little brother, who's your daddy?, Saban's scared of Gus, etc.)? It's very obvious that it's you who has trouble with the Alabama/Auburn relationship. Eventhough you're just one of hundreds of AU fans who feel this way, it seems to eat at you worse that it does to most of the others. Hey, don't believe me....just go back and read your previous posts.
I'd have to say that you're the one that needs help sleeping at night.

Auburn's loss in the NCG was heartbreaking, but not program-threatening.
With what Auburn returns in players and coaching, they should be in the mix for some time.
Much like the Saints, they can hold their respective heads up high.

However, alabama's consecutive losses were:
1. Heartbreaking (Auburn), and
2. Monumenetally embarrassing (Oklahoma)

LSU's loss to bama in Nov. 2012 was much more heartbreaking than 1/9/12 - that was just incredibly stupefying in its anti-climactic month from the moment bama was voted in by a group of BCS Human Poll voters who voted Okie State Fifth or Sixth.

However, even though we lost to Bama in heartbreaking fashion on 11/9/12, we won our last three games and was within a 4th and 16 defensive stop of winning our bowl game.

As it is, LSU remains the ONLY PROGRAM in the nation since 2000 to accomplish ALL of the following collectively SINCE 2000:
-have a winning season every year
-go to a bowl game every year
-win 9 bowl games (out of 14)
-Go to 3 BCSNCGs, winning 2
-Have NINE 10-win or better seasons
-Finish with SIX Top-5 seasons
-Finsih with TEN Top-15 seasons

What did I project?

you SO want to believe that the majority of CFB fans are thinking the same way you do....sorry to break this to you, but no matter how many times you & your online brethren continue repeating the tripe you post, it still won't change the perception by the majority that think bama stepped on their own dicks not once, but twice. it's OK, just ride it out 'til next season, and stay away from any sharp kitchenware until then....

Not sure where I stated that the majority of CFB fans think anything... I was stating my opinion/belief. Perhaps it is you that is doing the projecting?
If bama did, as you say, "stepped on their dicks not once but twice" seems to me that having one long enough to step on would be something to proud of... So, i'm not sure how stepping on it is a bad thing.

Face it, there is ONE sec school that could not step up and defend the trophy. When the chips were down, instead of going "all in" your team folded like a cheap cheap suit.

I realize AU is better than Bama as an institution and fanbase. And we happen to be better in football right now too.

Oh, and as for going to the game and losing, whatever. It is about the experience. Spent a week in vegas having fun which is the whole point.

Sorry your life experiences revolve around something you are even involved with or have any control over.

Wait, Alabama's loss to Auburn (a team that lost in the BCSCG) and 11-2 season was program threatening?

frick! I thought Alabama was going to continue to be really good.

There are a couple other things going for you aubies... You've got to experience LOSING in the big game!!! BGG (Big Game Gus) provided that for you. You also OWN sole rights to being "the ONLY (let that set in for a second) SEC school that couldn't bring the trophy back to the SEC"... A couple things we bama fans can't say....

A week in Vegas, no matter the outcome of a football game, is a good thing.

Not ghey... Just figured that women wouldn't give him the time of day, being an aubie and all. Plus he's probably more interested in little boys than grown women.

Well, we can say we weren't embarrassed in our bowl game because our coach couldn't seem to motivate the team to play. I think y'all have a lock on that.

I think you are projecting your short comings onto TiM.
