"I didn't want to take the visit (to AU)because I knew it was a good place and I knew how good it could be," said Whitehead. "I was trying to make myself stay in the state and play with (Ole Miss signees) Donte Moncrief and C.J. Johnson and all of them. I actually tried to act stubborn when I went on the visit to Auburn, but after I went I knew it was the best place for me. I couldn't deny it."

Glad my check cleared...whew

On a different note ..congrats to Ole Miss..considering you didn't have the best season this past year it looks like yall won the in state recruiting battle and a lot of the recuits had great things too say about your program

Whitehead to Auburn makes NO SENSE at all. He said for almost a year he wanted to play in Mississippi so his family and friends could watch him play. He also said numerous times he wanted to play with his friends such as Johnson, Moncrief, etc...

You Auburn guys sure know how to sweep things under the rug in regards to recruiting.

Dude. State lost EVERYBODY this year in recruiting. I think the problem over there was bigger than the "Auburn is cheating" crap again.....

Whitehead is a DB.

AU lost three DBs this year and two more next year.

AU's head coach has coached three Thorpe award winners.

His choices were the reigning National Champs or the retard school of the SEC.

Yeah...makes no sense.

Any recruit who has aspirations of playing in the NFL, their choice of college is a business decision.

Ask Calloway's father.

My point was there was a bigger problem at Ms State since they lost virtually every recruit they were in on.

I love the comments he said about gray shirting etc in his presser.. That shows MOOU will never be a top program in the SEC..

Thats about an ASININE statement that you could make. We lost CJ and 4 star PJ Jones switched from Ole Miss to us. We lost Whitehead and we never had Tobias and everybody in the country knew about a day after Brassel commited that he was not comfortable with his decision. We kept Joe Morrow a 4 star 6ft 5 WR. So to make it seem like we lost everybody we went after is just dumb. I hate we lost the guys we did but besides CJ, none of them was a suprise what so ever.

Yet he just keeps on kicking the shite out of Ole Miss' sorry arse and will be a 3 td favorite this year. Ignorant fan.
