I'm sure there are actual photos of him with a dick in his mouth floating around somewhere.

And that play colored almost every snap in the second half. Play calling changed, decision making changed, on both sides of the ball on both sidelines. It’s reality. That one play completely changed the game and in my opinion decided it.
Then that is a big mistake made by the Tennessee coaches for allowing one play to impact the playcalling of an entire second half. Y'all were still very much in that game even after that big play. Good teams/coaches flush plays like that and get back to grinding trying to get back in the game. If Huepel is calling plays scared that's like gambling with scared money. You never win gambling with scared money.

Jesus Christ, are you that simple? Did you only play sports in video games?

Actually, I played college baseball, but that is beside the point. You're trying to blame an entire second half on one play that occurred before halftime. Your own fans are complaining about Heupel's conservative nature in big games. They seem to have a better grasp on the situation than you.

Guess his '3 out of the last 4' didn't come to pass. He was right about gunslinger w/ wild abandon -- did his thing as time ran out.
> Man I dislike coach 'Food City'

Changed play calling how? Did he stop making extremely dumb play calling decisions highlighted by the play you think changed the game or something?
That was one of the worst play calls I've seen in a long time. it's 3rd down and you had no timeouts. There was no doubt it was going to be a passing play, and your coach decides that a play action is the best way to go.
And since your offense was all in a jumbo package and it was an obvious passing down, where you are going to throw the ball was basically known the entire time.
If your coach was making good decisions in the 1st half, I could see your point. But that was an obvious play where you run a 2 point conversion type play, not whatever the frick that shite was.

Forced the Vols out of their game plan on both sides of the ball. Vols are very run oriented team that were forced to pass with Bama able to pin their ears and just attack the QB all second half. The D had to play for the turnovers instead of their usual defense. The playcalling was completely different, the mindset was completely different.
Why am I having to explain basic football to you?

How original.
Vol tears are the best tears.

Ok, let's check.
Tennessee's first drive of the 2nd half was 4 plays. A 7 yard run, a 12 yard pass, a sack and a 44 yard rushing TD.
That took the lead down to 10. So if your coach then abandons the run, then that just seems like bad coaching.
However, that didn't happen either.
On your next drive, you had 5 plays. Pass, 18 yard run, pass, a 7 yard loss on a bad snap, and then a pass on 3rd and 19 before punting.
Alabama got the ball on their own 1, drove 99 yards and that finished out the 3rd quarter.

I guess maybe we just watched different games.

They were down 10 pts with the ball and 7:38 to play in the 3rd quarter. If the play caller decided to ditch his game plan in that situation because of the size of the deficit and the time left then he's bad at his job.
Not to mention, they didn't stop running the ball at all. You basically had the exact same run/pass splits, and they didn't even start skewing towards a bunch of passes until the last 2 drives when the game was over.
1st half : 25 drop backs, 14 runs
2nd half : 25 drop backs, 13 runs

Down 10 with 1.5 qtrs to play????

He was correct about this. Problem is the deepest shot he connected on went 99 yards the other direction
