NCAA's

You can never win it all in the NCAA Tourney if you never get to play in the first round

Would you rather win the Birmingham Bowl or lose in the CFP?

Winning the NIT is no small feat these days ... parity in college basketball and automatic berths to the big dance have made the NIT very competitive.

It's a fun tourney too ... especially if you make it to The Garden.

Honestly depends. A team that’s starting to put things together but struggling with consistency is probably better off going to the NIT so they can get a few extra games.

Easy answer. Go to the NCAAT.

Trip to the dance 100%

Winning the NIT would be a cool way to end the year but everyone plays for a chance to get to the dance

NCAA. Better to be in the tourney and you had a better season.

Would be only worth NIT if you won it all, otherwise I'd rather make the big dance tournament and lose

NCAA but a long NIT run can really help a young team like Mississippi State for next year. We got some good match up with three bubble teams so far with Nebraska, Baylor, and Losuville tonight. Really good experience.

Looking back after the season is over you didn't have a better season than the NIT winner though. You did at the time of selection Sunday but that wasn't the end of your season. If State wins the NIT we'll tie for 2nd most wins in school history for a season with a 26-11 record and NIT crown. That's a better season than 21-12 1st round loss in NCAAs.
