The fallacy of thought in this thread is More Wins = "Better"

I don't know about other teams, but LSU will be better in my opinion. Brennen is very capable qb. He has ran this offense in highschool and has learned some intangibles sitting behind Joe. The offensive line will be better and deeper and I think the defense will be much improved next year. I do not see a drop off.

A&M should be much improved, schedule aside. Pretty sure there's only 3 seniors on the entire 2-deep for both sides of the ball.

Our current backup Stetson Bennet, I think he's out of eligibility after this year. So maybe we can convince Plumlee to transfer and make up some bull shite to get him immediately eligible.

Actually, Bennett is a RS Sophomore. He isn't going pro anytime soon.

Very real possibility. Maybe Bennett to start, then Beck by 3rd or 4th game?

OM will be arse again but the upcoming losses in revenue will force us to fire Fatt Luke or give up football.

Front 7, probably.

But losing JR Reed and Richard Lecounte at both Safety spots is going to hurt. There's going to be some growing pains there.

Front 7 will certainly be better. Jordan Davis is returning as the anchor on the interior line. Travon Walker, Noah Smith have been a huge part of the defensive improvement as true freshmen, and it's logical to expect pretty large improvement in the sophomore campaign. Aziz is the sack leader as a sophomore and Smith is #2 even though he played sparingly for half the season. Nakobe Dean has been really good - a real playmaker - when we've seen him and I expect an upgrade with him replacing Tae Crowder. Monte Rice is the leader in tackles and he should be back as well.

The secondary will be fine. Lewis Cine has been good every time we've seen him. Stephenson is going to be a star. Campbell, Stokes, & Daniel have all been good; but I expect Stephenson to take a lot of Daniel's time. Even though LeCounte has had some good moments, he's still taking bad angles on plays and making mental errors. Replacing him with Cine might be a net positive overall.

Reed will be the biggest loss. I've been hoping to see Campbell at safety just because he played the position so well in HS.

Either way, an improved pass rush, which we can definitely expect, will help the secondary, and every player we see returning is a disciplined, sure tackler in the run game. I do expect an even better defense.

I can say with complete certainty that LSU won’t be higher ranked than they are right now at this time next year

LSU is going to be loaded again next season dude. We will be right there. Myles Brennan can fricking sling it and Joe Brady has already said that Myles can execute this offense well too, though not like burrow does, but still he will be fine tuned for his junior season to start.

At worst Georgia stays the same.
Even if Fromm leaves I’d think our offense can’t still score high 20s and our defense should still be nasty.
If LSU has the same defense what are they gona do without big dick joe?
Bama? They got Tuas little brother. They’re fine.

Oh I know. Brennan has a cannon and is accurate. He can spin it for sure. I'm glad he has matured and put on some good size since 2 years ago lol. That was the only thing holding him back. He will be ready to go as a rs junior next year. It will be his team, unless one of these true freshman and comes in and just blows people away.
