I think Bama is looking pretty tough...UF looks shaky...LSU is questionable...and Auburn's defense has been exposed...Ole Miss overrated....

What think you guys?

And give unbiased answers...

Bama looks most complete but to say UF looks shaky is wrong in my opinion. UF hasnt been the offensive team that you expect but their run game is one of the top in the nation and their D is great.

Let me rephrase...The above quote is a better representation of what I am trying to say...the offense isn't play as well as I expected it too...Really, I expected domination from UF vs everybody...

Statistically, we're pretty dominate. We've really just looked lackluster in the passing game but we've been running the ball so well I find it hard to complain.

Alabama- Pretty solid overall, but still room for improvement. Defense is championship caliber and Ingram/Richardson are f'n bowling balls.

Arkansas- Offense is unstoppable if Mallet has time to throw the ball, and defense looks to be improving... I think next year is Arky's year to contend in the west.

Auburn- Offense has really impressed me (especially Tate and Todd), but the defense is swiss cheese. If Chiz & Gus take AU to a bowl this year (which they will), I think AU fans should be pretty happy... it's their first year down at the plains.

LSU- I have no idea what to think of LSU right now because they are playing up and down the the competition... they are big and physical on defense, but the offense is suspect. I still think LSU can kick it into gear at any moment...

Ole Miss- Defense is solid as a rock, but what the f'n Snead happen to the offense?

MSU- Work in progress...

Florida- Championship caliber defense, but the offense is suspect. The only two real defenses they have played (LSU an UT) have made their O look pedestrian. UF will probably turn it up though... I have learned not to doubt the power of TT

UGA- When I think of UGA, I think of one word: inconsistency... not sure what else to say.

Kentucky- A physical Defense and is a better team than advertised...

South Carolina- Very sSolid D, good coaching, and when the offense is clicking... watch the f out

UT- Good D and Crompton... hate Lane, but he has recruited very well. UT fans should show more patience... you can't rebuild a team in one year.

Vandy- Its vandy...

It's Bama's year, unless they all get the swine flu before the UT Chattanooga game.

FL is not suspect. They are a dominating team, just not as flashy as years past.

Bama hands down.

UF has not shown to be the same dominant team as last year. In 2 games vs. good defenses they have struggled offensively.

By the end of the year, things could definitely change, but right now Bama is pulling away from the pack.

Bama hands down. They actually look the best in the country right now.

Amazing what 2 1/2 years can do....

Bama is the most complete team with a great defense probably the best in the conference, a better offense than florida's, and better special teams. IMO thats what separates bama from florida.

After that its a big drop off IMO.

3. LSU
4. Tenn
5. Arky
6. UGA
7 USC
8. Ole Miss
9. AU

I would feel better about calling us the most complete team in the nation if our special teams weren't such a nightmare some times.

I still tend to think we have the best team but we will have to earn it against Florida in Atlanta.

i love how after UF plays the most talented defense they're going to play at one of the toughest places to play with their starting QB rebounding from a concussion everyone says UF's offense is suspect.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but Bama's kickoff coverage has got to be one of the worst in the conference. Defense is solid as a rock with the secondary seeming to step it up the last few games. Offense is mostly good but can go into hibernation.

Bama and UF are neck and neck right now for best in the conference. Like someone already said, LSU could kick in at any minute. SC and then Arkansas.

Florida's passing game is not as potent as it was last year but they dont really need it with a running game they have.

Bama's offense is good as of right now but I still think we could be even more explosive than we have been already.

LSU if it could find any kind of offense, they could be very dangerous. Im not sold on Chavis either.

Auburn they only thing wrong is defense.

Ole Miss the problem there is Jevan Snead.

In FLorida's two games vs. good defensesnthey are averaging roughly 200 yds. running and 125 yds. passing. (Ut and LSU)

In Bama's two games vs. good defenses they are averaging 240 yds. running and 200 yds. passing. (VT and Ole Miss)
