Missouri and Drinkwitz still hasn't beat any ranked SEC teams so far.

The Texas A&M game is bigger for us than this past week’s game. If we drop two in a row, even a close one, at home, our playoff chances are over and we really do become frauds.

Texas, without a doubt. They need their students to travel but their students don't really like football anymore.
If I were them I would highlight all of the great curry resturants in Knoxville.

Ha! No kidding! Feel like more pressure on us, all the Kiffin drama, all the $$ spent, and of course the prison raping by A&M last year in Tiger stadium- ironically semi catalyst for all the aforementioned drama.
We will see how well they bounce back - after such an emotional game.

The B1G lost some high-profile OOC games this season that will change the Playoff Committee's perception of strength. They have been made fun of for their TV games and all the patsies they've played. And they really haven't started to knock each other off in league play yet.
The Playoff Committee has a lot of early reasons to favor the SEC that will carry weight later on.

LSU simply because it is more of a national news story and program expectations are higher.
A/M is disapointing but very few people thought this team would be better than last year’s.
That being said I will believe Baker can scheme to stop Reed when I see it.

Agreed. Michigan, Oregon, and USC should not be considered at the end of the season. Penn State and Iowa are very overrated. I only see Ohio State and Indiana.
So 2 from B10, 1 from B12, 1 from ACC, ND, G6, 6 SEC teams. I'll take that.

I actually disagree bigly with this take. If there is one defining characteristic of LSU fans that I’ve seen the last 4-5 years it’s an almost irrational loyalty and patience in the face of reality. You had posters on here supporting BK into that final season and delusions persisted until about 90 days before he was fired.
Lane being a bigger personality is their Brawndo and just gives LSU all the more electrolytes they need.
