People will say Arkansas and we have plenty of hillbillies in the state but they could never afford to go to the u of a. I never once met a person I'd consider a hillbilly at school. There were a few rednecks but not the hard core kind. Just some guys that would drive a truck, dip, and hunt. Pretty much the most redneck ppl at Arkansas are the frat guys.

Not our fan base. tu has managed to scrape all the scum from the bottom of the bucket. For example, rednecks from Northeast TX love tu almost as much as their guns and disdain for "for'ners" and welfare. If they actually spent about five minutes at the university itself I think they would find their allegiance a bit foolish.

That's exactly it. Most of them probably never have spent 5 minutes on campus outside of gameday. Bandwagon.

Almost every fanbase in the SEC is like that. Alabama would probably be the worst, but as one other poster said, it really is insane how many rednecks are in Georgia.

It is easily Tennessee by a mile. Have you guys ever been to the mountains of northeast Tennessee? Seriously . . . no contest when it comes to rednecks and hillbillies. The Miss. schools are 2nd/3rd. Bama (I can admit it)/Arky/AU/LSU are interchangeable 4th-7th. GA/SC fall after that.

Have you ever been to northeast Alabama? Anyone that has ever been to Alabama knows once you cross that state line you see a whole new level of white trash.

And the things is, the northern part of Alabama is actually the nice part of the state. Once you cross the Tennessee River it all goes downhill.

On campus I wander sometimes if people look at themselves before they leave their house/dorm

Redneck Barometer, 14 being least redneck

14 Missouri, North of Mason Dixon
13 Vanderbilt, Even Vandy has a few
12 Florida, Rednecks diluted by non residents
11 Kentucky, KY has rednecks, ever seen turtle man?
10 TAMU, More cowboys, less rednecks
09 Auburn, LA has plenty rednecks, but Auburn manages to keep a lot of them out.
08-03 It is a toss up.
01 and 02. It came down to MSU or Arky for number 1. Arky wins because I have a Mississippi friend who told me he had a third world experience there.

Bama, Auburn, and TN. In that order.

You need to get out more if you don't know the answer to that.

Good Jesus Christ.... why does shite like that have to end up on youtube.

I remember that game..LSU vs MSU in 09. Muddy as shite everywhere because we had like 8 inches of rain. I was a freshman in Juco but I went to stark that weekend. I don't remember this going on at the junction though. I do remember cars getting stuck that parked in the field in front of the Wise center... I made a little cash pulling them out.

you realize we share a border and the ozarks right? overall, i don't think we're that redneck or hillbilly- sure we've got some but so does every one of our states.

I don't think of Arkansas' students as being redneck at all. The fanbase, yes. The students at Arkansas strike me to lean to be more liberal than any other SEC school.

The war memorial crowd is just as redneck as any fanbase in America sans West Virginia
