Back in the day it would have been the Pike house at UK. While not the Delta house in the movie, so much history could be seen in the movie. Phi Delta at UK was pretty fun as well but they never had a golf course in the house.

Back in the day Auburn had Indian Pines, but they also had an “elite” semi private club just south of campus named “Pin Oaks.”
Pin Oaks had a hybrid grass/weeds greens and fairways were rock filled.
They understood that a “cooler” from the car was more economical for the students.

I haven’t played at any “on campus” but have a few off campus. Like Ole Miss and South Carolina. Same courses their college uses. Cobblestone In SC was fun.

Not A&M.
Definitely not. Our course lacks trees or any kind of good turf…which is odd.
I did make a legit Eagle on a hole once when I was in school. But that’s cause I was drunk and yelling “titties” every time I swung. That had to have something to do with it.

The U Club is pretty meh and 10 miles from campus.
Hate to give Louisville credit for anything but theirs is ranked like 3rd in the state for best courses, with Valhalla being number 1. It’s incredible.

Take a look at Karsten Creek for OkState, one of the top courses & clubhouses for College Golf.
10 min from campus, maybe.

Both of my kids played HS golf and Wildcat is usually beat to hell.
And yes, that UL club is really nice.

I'd put it in the top 10. Tough course with outstanding practice facilities. Get out there in August when it's crispy and dry...shew wee, better hang on.
But it's what, 15-20 miles from campus?

Yea it’s on the side of 64 before you ever even get to Louisville haha. Not a college course but if you’ve never played Dale Hollow State Park go do it! One of the top rated public courses in America. And cheap!

Have heard that. I play in a two man evening league at Iroquois and one of the guys who works in the shop is the former pro there. He tells us every week to make the drive, apparently a good stay and play deal to boot.

We snag a BnB one weekend every fall and play 36 twice. Stay less than a mile away and play at an awesome course for a cheapish weekend. Can’t beat it.
