Which SEC Basketball Programs Have The Highest Potential?

Obviously this thread isn't for Kentucky, as they are one of the all-time powerhouses.
Which programs in the SEC have the potential to become a national force eventually in college basketball? The results of this year so far has nothing to do with this thread.
Personally I would say Arkansas and Tennessee have a pretty solid basketball infrastructure in place, with access to recruiting hotbeds(Memphis, Atlanta, ect). Florida also has proven it's capable. LSU and UGA are confusing to me. While both have had Final Four runs, it seems like the support overall just isn't there for basketball at those schools.

LSU hasn't had a good coaching hire since Dale Brown. We need to go out and spend the money on a good coach if we are to go back to making the tournament almost every year again.

First off welcome 
I disagree with LSU they have the potential to be great in basketball if they ever get their shite together. Alabama and State also have the potential to be perennial powerhouses, with the support that both programs have.

Bama should be much better. Powerhouse AD, and as football proves you can get recruits. Also Alabama is a pretty rich state for HS bball.

What do you mean by support? Fan attendance?
State was 77th in the country in 2010 averaging about 6.8k per game.
Bama was 37th with about 10.9k per game FWIW.

Not just fan support, facilities etc. I would say that for a small school that they have a solid program that could be elite, if they hired the right coach.

Here's my case (hopefully not too biased) for Tennessee. I know Jarnell Stokes somewhat fell into our laps, but getting a player of his caliber from Memphis to wear Orange is a nice starting point. It won't happen overnight, but if Cuonzo can establish a presence in Memphis over the next few years, then we will have something to work with.
Also, the newly renovated Thompson Boiling Arena is first class. It has an NBAesque arena feel to it. Plus, a capacity crowd of 220000 makes it deafning at times. Bruce Pearl awakened our basketball fanbase and I feel like any competent coach could win with the resources we have.

I'm biased, but Florida all the way.
Great talent in the state, ability to recruit is always there, awesome coach currently (top5 in the country), best AD in the country, best women in tSEC, beautiful campus, great weather, excellent academics, solid fanbase, etc etc etc
I'd put tamu 2nd right behind us for similar reasons

Vandy. If they would devote all of their resources to becoming a major basketball school, instead of pretending that they compete in football, they could be the next Duke.
Vandy should start exclusively recruiting the smart, driven, high character athlete like Duke does and make that what they are known for. Kids like that want to play with other players like them and it will become a pipeline for those kinds of kids eventually.

I don't consider Florida as having potential, I would say they are already a powerhouse. I mean yall won back to back national titles only five years ago.

I could see that. Although Vandy has never really proven they can win outside of the theatre gym they play in. At the same time, with the rigourous academic qualifiers that Vandy has in place, I feel like Duke will always get the elite, smart recruits.

Eh, we may not have the highest potential per say but we have a lot of potential, just a matter of getting all the right pieces in place.
