AJ has done well, but is generally put in positions where he should succeed and has a lot of weapons around him. Great O-line, great rushing attack, talented wideouts, Yeldon is GREAT out of the the backfield etc.
This is a poor point. The NFL is supposed to feature the best players. There's a decent chance AJ will find himself around relatively better talent than he had at Alabama. All the support that AJ has right now can be improved upon in the NFL if he lands on the right team.

That's overblown.
There was the imprecise pass to a wide open Cooper in the LSU game, an underthrown deep ball to Cooper and Bell in the 4th against A&M (both of which resulted in turnovers on the next set of downs), and at least one imprecise deep ball to a wide open Cooper against Notre Dame. Luckily, the Notre Dame game was a blowout.
All 3 interceptions were avoidable and very costly last season. The one in the end zone against Texas A&M cost Alabama a shot to take the lead, and the one in the end zone against Georgia helped put an Alabama victory in jeopardy late.

Neither strike me as a guy who would be successful in the league. I'd say McCarron's game translates better to the NFL level even if its in a back-up role. I don't really know what to say about JFF's skillset, it doesn't seem like an NFL game, but I guess he could be that one guy who can still do what he does in the NFL, although I dont see Johnny being able to run around the backfield in a zig zag for as long in the pro's.
Tim Tebow started NFL games, this is what set me off yesterday. What other than being a Bama QB do you see that shows he is a career backup in the NFL?

McCarron highlights remind me of Tim Tebow. the system (effectiveness and discipline to the run game) shows a ton of similarities if you youtube their highlights.
McCarron's receivers are running with a ton of green space around them. they are almost never double-covered. the windows that he has to drop those throws through are massive (or they are wide open WR screens with defenders playing way off).
Very similar to Tebow's highlights. and if you look at the passing stats, you will see the similarities continue.
That doesnt translate well to the nfl where the margins for error get insanely small.

McCarron is Tebow? that is a first. McCarron has a better chance of being in the NFL than Murray (the height thing being listed at 6'1" is going to kill Murray)
Our system is a lot more in common the UGA's than it does the Meyer offense

Drew Brees
Russell Wilson
Basically RG3 and Aaron Rodgers (they're a small 6'2")

If you also review every pass he threw, you'll find that he buzzed quite a few in between defenders, and he makes a lot of tight throws onto the sidelines.
I do agree with what I THINK you're saying though, if AJ goes to a garbage team he's gonna be meh for a while. I still maintain that the Browns and the Vikings are two teams that would fit him well. If he was a Jags or Raiders QB though, it'll hurt him.

AJ, has a better arm, accuracy, and form than Asron Murray has. Along with a better release.

Better arm is debatable. I agree with everything else though. I'd also say AJ has better footwork, but what do I know? Just an observation.
That said, I don;t know if we can say AJ has a better arm. His arm is certainly underrated, but Murray has a really good arm.

Russell Wilson is the same size as Manziel and is doing well.
that's because Russell Wilson has an elite arm, Manziel does not. I'll say AJ will be better, thou I have major doubts about him as well.

It isnt the system. it is how effective and dedicated you are to running the football that allows the receivers so much green grass around them (ie. McCarron would really have to screw it up to turn the ball over).
Regarding the other response about watching more games... you are right. i don't watch a lot of Bama. But i can tell you for certain that the Youtube highlights for McCarron are laughable how much space the receivers have to work.
And i stand by my statement that those highlights mirror the space afforded Tebow's receivers when you look over his youtube gator clips.

If your receivers don't have space then that could be on your receivers or your play calling.

Didn't say career back up, just said at the least he should be able to be a back-up QB.

What? He's essentially saying that a lot of AJ's deep throws are to guys that are wide open. That's not entirely true, but he does get guys with plenty of space. To be fair though, every QB in college football that has success throwing deep is mostly throwing to guys with plenty of space.

He is a UGA fan implying that because the way we run the ball AJ doesn't throw in the same tight windows that Murray does. But using the running game to open up a precision and wide opening rhythm passing game is 90 percent of Richt's system. I like Richt's offense.

It is so laughable how defensive the gumps get.
I never once said anything about my WRs, my QB, or my team.
I've pulled up the McCarron highlights trying to find the NFL throws and all i found were Tebow 2.0 highlights.
Maybe he sticks the ball in there between 2 or 3 defenders all game. but the gump youtubers ignore those plays. who knows. he's probably peyton freaking manning. but no one with any editing skills knows how to highlight that arm strength and accuracy when it doesn't involve a receiver galloping free across the field.

I may have missed it, but I don't remember him saying Murray threw into tighter windows than AJ. Again, I could be wrong, but don't just assume things.

McCarron = Ken Dorsey
AJ 6'4" 210
Dorsey 6'4" 220
He's surrounded with superior talent and coaching to 99% of his opponents. I just don't see him having any success at the next level. 4-5 years as a backup maybe, which is a pretty awesome life.

I don't have a lot of time to do it, but over the next week and a half I could get you something to show off his NFL skills, I don't really know how to get the videos off of youtube though.

He's got a ceiling of Matt Ryan with a better deep ball and a floor of Jason Campbell, in my opinion. It's hard to fully gauge how good he will be, but I think he gets drafted in the first two rounds, and if he goes to a team that has some pieces already there and won't put too much pressure on him right away, then he will have a good rookie year. I'm not saying he'll take the league by storm, I think he'll be solid though.
