you leave the Big XII because you got tired of the abuse from Texas from every angle. You thought joining the SEC would result into championships, forgetting you'd be in the same division as LSU and Alabama. Meanwhile, Oklahoma, despite losing to Texas, has won the Big XII and will be in the COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYOFF. How is Aggy doing? Had Aggy stayed, they could be enjoying more success, but no. Aggy is now the tortured stepchild of the SEC.

Shoot, you could argue that UGA was the next team in line in 2002, 2007, and 2012. That's contending, I think
I mean, we didn't play for the NC, and that's why Richt is going to Miami, but still

We left the Big Twatever because YOUR CONFERENCE frickING SUCKS!!!!

did it suck because you hadn't won a conference title since 1998? I guess that would make it suck then. How's the SEC working out for you? Hell, even Missouri laughs at you. They have won 2 East tiles already.

No. It sucked because nobody was ever on national TV, the TV contracts blew donkey balls, and 80% the venues/teams were laced with chloroform.
You know you don't belong in the playoffs. You're just in by default because the Pac sucks, and winning the Big Twatever is like winning the little league championship.

Of the 4 listed in the OP, I think Ole Miss is the safest bet.
UGA could jump to the top of the list rather quickly, but they're too much of an unknown, right now.

Won't everyone be contending by week 1 of next season?

Georgia but none of those schools will win a national championship with their current coach.

GEORGIA?
won consensus title in 1980, but hasn't contended for once since 1982
If Missouri came close in 2007, so did we...

I honestly can see Missouri getting there before the others

What's it like never being the best program in Texas?

Is that all the choices we have?

TEXAS A&M?
won AP title in 1939, but since then not even close
I'd say they came as close in 1975 as some of the other teams you listed.
