Eliminating this thread sounds better.

If I was the LSU AD, I'd just go ahead and give the job to Fournette. That way he'd be on the short list for Coach of the Year, AND the Heisman trophy next year.

I would be shocked if we hired someone w/o HC experience

I have enormous respect for y'all's DC. I can't imagine he couldn't keep the ball rolling for y'all if he hired a decent OC.

He's a great DC for sure, but that doesn't necessarily translate to great HC.

I'm sure he would get an interview. Personally I'd rather Fuente with Chavis/Wilson retained though.

If you hired Doc the intro videos would be awesome.

Yea, HC does take some extra charisma and tact compared to coordinator positions. But I'm hoping if Miles bolts, Chavis listens to our DC offer.

I'd go with Butch Davis or Doc Holiday. Two polar opposites in their approach but would be very successful.

You don't consider Gundy a real option? I think y'all could get him and he would be fantastic.
