No, NC State was not the best team at Omaha in 2021.

They beat a struggling Vandy team 1-0 with all their starters in the game.
MS State beat that same Vandy team by a combined, three game tally of 24-10. Even in the one loss to Vandy, MS State scored more runs that NC State did in their lone win.

And MS State would have beaten NC State, had the Wolfpack managed to get by Vandy. And I doubt they would have gotten by, because they didn't have the pitching that the Commodores or MS State had in 2021.

Stats don't lie. Look them up.

Sounds like we’ll never really know. Looks like we’ll just have to throw an asterisk on who ever won that year.

* this looks good on y’all.

Only 2 of the current teams in Omaha - Florida and Virginia - have won the CWS. The Gators won in 2017 and the Cavs won back in 2015.

So the other 6 teams have never won the CWS, although FSU and UNC have both finished as runners-up, the Seminoles 3 times and the Tar Heels 2 times.

Sure think, Reb or Bear or Shark...
Tell me again, what are you guys today?

Let's also put an asterisk on your football national titles, two of which exist only in your school's collective minds.

It’s okay lil bro. Y’all won the National Championship and nobody can take that away from you. It’s just fun to try, as your rival.

I think Tennessee and A&M are out because of pitching. Everyone else will battle it out.
