I also remember when Auburn hung like 40 on y’all in 2017. Just saying it can happen.
LSU went from not scoring against bama to putting up 46. In a one year difference.
If Malzahn has some good pieces at Wr and RB I think they will be a contender if nix stays solid Throughout the year.

Nix is more experienced and knows the playbook.
Mathis dude didn’t even expect to be starting.
And you expect him to know everything and be confident without hardly and off-season preparation.
Really the only thing as of right now that Georgia is better than auburn is defense. And we don’t know that for sure that’s off pure speculation.

Nix was arse last season, Mathis is a 6'5" 4.4 kid with the athleticism to make up at least somewhat for his inexperience, and the UGA defense is maybe the surest bet in the SEC this season.

Can’t argue much there.
But there have been many athletic QBs that have struggled (Justin fields when he was at UGA).It might work out for you vs Arkansas.
It will be more difficult vs Florida, Bama, Auburn, potentially LSU.
And completely relying on your Defense to win games will not work.
I’m a LSU fan I know all about our elite defenses and no offense.
It will win games but won’t win every game.
You saw that last year.
But there have been many athletic QBs that have struggled (Justin fields when he was at UGA).It might work out for you vs Arkansas.
