Pelini would make LSU a national power again.

Muschamp is the one I would fear the most, other than Gruden. I'm not sure Gruden will ever coach college ball though.

he out coached leslie last year.

he made a great call on the goal line that fooled every single defender but chad jones is such a beast he still knocked it away.

Gruden is a pipe dream, no way he goes to college if he wants return to coaching

That is why I think Pelini would leave Nebraska.

The only reason he left Nebraska in the first place is because he wasn't offered the HC job. That boat has sailed.

I don't get all the love for Muschamp. I love his fiery attitude, but when he was at LSU head the title of DC, but everyone knew Nick Saban ran that defense, and Muschamp was his helper.

At Texas, he probably has the best defensive recruits in the country coming to TX. His defenses get plenty of points scored agains them. I'm just no sure he's really head coach material for a Major CFB team now. Maybe a midlevel team to get HC experience.

how about bama last year. he let them run all over his d. it worries me about him but then again maybe tejas players are all like colt so there wasn't shite he could do about it.

Muschamp was great at Auburn on his own and he took over a Texas squad that was not doing too well defensively and instantly turned that D around.

I think his personality is perfect for LSU and the fans would love him. He would be a hell of a recruiter at LSU too. Dre Kirkpatrick nearly went to Texas solely because he wanted to play for Muschamp.

I also think significant SEC experience should be almost a prerequisite for a HC job in the SEC (yes I realize this would have disqualified Saban at LSU). It is not always the case, but a lot of young coaches do not realize what they are getting themselves into when they come to the SEC. The recruiting ballgame here is totally different than anywhere else.

Jimmy Sexton was seen creeping around the LSU campus this morning. It appears Saban back to LSU and Nutt to Bama.

Read more. I said coach that they have a reasonable chance at. LSU has burned the bridge that might have led to Saban ever coming back.

We "burned" It?

I think you have it the other way around
