Tua or Hurts?

Looks to me that most BAMA fans believe Hurts doesn't have the arm they want.

Tua won't sit for 3 years to wait on Hurts is gone.

2 system QB? Because if you have two QBs, you have none, correct?

It's a legit question. I don't understand why BAMA fans won't approach this.

All I've got was "Etling" when the question has nothing to do with LSU.

It's not a legit question. It's a weak and poor troll attempt.

Lets see.

A very athletic QB that managed the team, limited mistakes, wasn't very flashly or a statistical phenom, but still won every game except the NC.

A 5 star QB with great mechanics, incredible athlete, intangibles, and is enrolling early.

Sounds like a good thing to have. Iron sharpens iron.

We don't know. We haven't even seen Tua in an Alabama practice yet. He might suck, he might need a couple of years to develop, he might be great right off. I would imagine if he beat Hurts out you could see Hurts transfer. I don't think Tua would transfer if he can't beat Hurts out. Rather he could RS year 1 (Hurts 2nd year), back up year 2-3 (Hurts 3rd and 4th year), and then start his Junior and Senior year. Injuries happen too. So your question might be legit but it's really premature and nobody knows. Let's at least see Tua in an A-Day game.

How is it not legit?

You're going to have a true sophomore QB and a backup that's a true freshman. One isn't going to want to sit for 2-3 years.

probably thought he would take the role from hurts.. or redshirt, Hurts leaves after 2019 season and he starts as RS sophomore...

Let us get our crystal balls out and see if we can find the answer to that for you...

Hmmmm... Looks like Hurts will start next year while Tua redshirts. The following year, Hurts is injured 3 games into the season and Tua takes over and holds it for three years.

Is this like in the backyard where somebody plays QB for both teams?

Think Saban can get that rule approved?
