His name is on top of the list for most punt returns for TD's in a career in NCAA history. Maybe not an award, but certainly an achievement. What achievement does TM lead the NCAA in?

Javy was a major contributer for 4-years, won an NC, and was a 2nd round pick (50th) to the Chiefs and is very much on the roster....TM7 was kicked off the team for drugs is going to McNeese St.....who knows what his NFL future holds except to say its probably not very bright

You tell me who has been more succesful? So stop with the javy bashing just cause your butthurt

I just had to point this out.

That's cool and all, but in a lot of people's opinions TM was a better player who single handily turned around games. The only mad ones here are the Bama who turned a classy thread from another fan about a player's accomplishments to a 15-page bitch fest because one of their players from yesteryear wasn't being acknowledged. Bama fans have the worst "ohh look at me" syndrome of all the SEC fanbases.

No, it's completely correct. It takes a true, huge homer to try to tell someone that JA28 was better than TM7. It's homerism at it's finest.

The proof is in the fact that 95% of the people outside the state of Bama dont know who JA28 is...

I'd say TM is better, but not by some wide margin.

And we may see him in purple & gold again

and to be back in 2013 would be clutch, considering the majority of the starting defense from this year will be in the league

lmao Alabama fans are out of control. You bring Javier Arenas into this thread?

props to TTsTowel for acknowledging the greatness.

ETA: TM7 had as many takeaways as a fricking freshman than Javier Arenas had his entire career. Heismann finalist and Bednarik award winner as a sophomore. Javier Arenas

Again Arenas is no where near as good as TM7. Let me know when Arenas win a Bednarik and sec Defensive MVP.

Any Bama fan claiming Arenas was = to TM7 is being a homer. TM7 won every defensive MVP award you can win in a college season. What defensive award did Arenas win in his 4 years? None. Again, TM accomplished more in two years, individually than any Bama DB ever. It's a fact. As in, cant be disputed.
