Where were the threats against Bama for the Bediako situation?

Bediako actually played in 5 games for Bama earlier this year. He was previously under a contract with the Spurs and played in the G-League. He went from college to pro then back to college. Was granted a TRO to play for Bama for like 2-3 weeks. ACTUALLY PLAYED GAMES.

Were there boycotting, probation, expulsion, and lawsuit threats against Bama?

Why not?

A higher court finally put a stop to Bediako. Ok, awesome. These football players (WHO HAVE NOT PLAYED GAMES YET), have a hearing on Thursday... But lets go ahead and threaten LSU.

I've been against taking these players this whole time, now I'm for it. frick all your pussy arse schools.

Alabama cut Bediako loose after an Alabama judge ruled that him signing a G-league contract made him ineligible to play college sports.

Also they did not stage a revolt to try to overthrow the SEC like LSU seems to be doing.

Whatever happens Thursday will be a black eye for LSU. If they win and the players are deemed eligible it will look like home cooking by a Baton Rouge judge. People won’t be surprised, they will shrug and think that is just Louisiana politics for ya.. If they lose and the NFL players are ruled ineligible the story will get very interesting. Does Kiffin still put them on the roster?

The masses like Bama, and don't like LSU is my guess.

Everyone hates Lane.

Do you seriously think LSU wouldn't do the same? The kids have not been ruled ineligible by a judge yet.

Link?

LSU is not instigating this. The kids feel they have been wronged (and they have a pretty good argument for it). They are the ones suing, not LSU.

It was different. It was worse than this current situation. Bediako wanted to come back because he couldn't make an NBA team. These football players want to come back because they were forced out, then a rule grants a 5th year.

So these players just called up LSU and told them they were going to come play at LSU? LSU had no say in it?

So, basically the Trinidad Chambliss situation.

Then there is this which you spoke out against vehemently when Will Wade did the same thing.

Yet, I don't see any of your outrage at Ole Miss.

Let me say this first I am against bringing these players in.

But explain this to me.

So what was the Chambliss thing? Was that home cooking?

Then why did they not attempt to return to college starting in June when the 5 for 5 rule was announced? Why did they wait until late August after they had gotten waived from a NFL roster to try to return to college?

If these guys had really wanted to return to play college football they would have attempted to return much sooner so they could go through summer camp with their college team mates. Instead they decided to go through summer camp with their NFL team mates.

No, dumbass. It started in Colorado, over a month ago, a judge there issued a class wide lawsuit saying all kids who left college this past season should regain eligibility - except for kids who have signed pro contracts. Well, the kids who had signed pro contracts felt that wasn't fair - the ruling should still apply to them because they left college for the same reason the others left. Their lawyers initiated this and a judge in Baton Rouge was willing to hear them. LSU played no part in any of this.

This seems to be LSU fans’ top defense.

Other people have done bad things so we should be allowed to do bad things.

Do you think defense lawyers use this defense regularly? When defending an alleged murderer do they argue “people of the jury, my client is alleged of murdering two people. Yes there is video of it. Yes he confessed to police he did it. But people of the jury, lots of people have murdered other people. Some murdered many more people than my client. Based on that you should find my client not guilty.”

Does that work?

They didn't wait. The 5 for 5 rule was announced on June 23rd. This all immediately started in Colorado, thereafter. And the Colorado injunction was issued on July 31st.

Yall need to do some homework on this.
