AND 1 non-conference P4

We have to have those because it’s the only way to get any reasonable sense of comparable strength between the conferences.

Right now we have zero idea if Oregon or IU are any good. The eye test says yes, but outside of that we won’t know until at best the B1GCG.

Its rediculous.

Bama's schedule doesnt look that much more impressive than the 3 teams ahead of them based on how they ranked teams

I have no problem with Alabama being ranked where they are. But they do have a decently more difficult schedule than the other 3 last I looked.

If it was a 0 loss team they'd be #1, instead it's the highest ranked 1 loss team.

Seems fine to me.

I don’t believe margin of victory matters anymore. OU is one spot behind Texas, do you think you should be ahead?

And no I don’t think 2 road victories against below average to bad teams matters in the grand scheme as they are Ws.

But they have to give auto to conferences and G5 which takes extra spots. An sec team could be 10 and the g5 and ACC champ gets automatically in, which is bs

Agree with this. Just get the W. It’s the NFL model

Agreed. The loss to a 1-4 ACC team wipes out their best win (UGA), and they are left with 3 wins over currently ranked teams, 2 of which will not be ranked at the end of the year.

#4 is a fair ranking for the gumps, for now. Next weekend they drop to 10

The part where there are the highest ranked 1 loss football team, despite being out gained and out first downed by South Carolina just a week or so ago.
