I think UGA has no answer for our receivers and Tua gets around 350 passing yards and 4-5 TDs.

Georgia has a top 15 pass D, only 11 passing TDs all year. 175 yards per game.

Bama giving up 114 on the ground per game, 15th best.

not the usual brick wall we have come to expect from a Saban team, used to be nobody ran for 100 on Bama

yes, but Auburn got around the edges on us, and if AU can, then so can UGA, so I would be liar if I said UGA's run game does not concern me

Bama might win this on the ground, Georgia not bad defending the air.

Maybe... But we've also faced some pretty poor passing teams. Baker is elite, but we're not well matched on the slot receiver or TE.. and the other corner position just got shuffled a bit. Stokes has played well of late, but hasn't gone up against Bama level receivers or passers...

It's going to take exceptional execution from UGA in all facets... Not much else to say there.

"Home" field advantage.

I don't know about that. It's kind of our home away from home by now.

I've never understood people that say this about the SECCG. they divide the tickets evenly between the two schools. It's the number of fans at a game that makes for a home field advantage. If a team has a home field advantage at the SECCG, it's because the other teams fans didn't want to show up for the game.

Yeah... If UGA is going to win this, we have to be able to run effectively... Speed up the clock, keep Tua off the field, and play bend/not break enough to force FG attempts for Bama when possible.

Not a high probability win, but hopefully we only have to play it once.

Though I'm not sure why, I think Saban actually wants to kick shorter sometime.

If a team does not use the new kickoff fair catch, he will kick it high and short.

Who’s the best QB they’ve played? Locke?

Early season Locke played nothing like late season Locke.

Also Bama has a surprise for UGA on defense. It’s going to be huge

Terrell Lewis playing won’t be a “surprise” to anyone as he’s practicing this week. I think it’ll be pretty stupid to play him though considering he’s 5 months removed from ACL surgery and isn’t in football shape.

Georgia has only given up 3 passing touchdowns in the first half (most everything given up has been junk time with backups).

UGA hasn't faced a QB as good as Tua. But it goes both ways.

UGA's pass defense is underappreciated. I expect season lows for Tua (despite a 4 quarter game).

It’s actually really simple.. get pressure on Tua and you have a chance. Give him time and let him set up its game over before it started

Offensively, it will key on run.. likely in spite of what the defense shows. I think Chaney learned that he's gotta stick with it regardless of the defensive look in some cases, otherwise you get away from what makes us tick... See: LSU

Defensively, keep the receivers in front of us... Don't give up big chunk plays... If you can force Bama to play and grind first downs, then the game moves more quickly and I think balances the odds a bit... One or two turnovers can change the outcome of it's a lower scoring game... I don't know how probable that is but it would help.

true, but he has been practicing non contact for 2 weeks, so he should see a good bit of playing time, probably obvious passing downs where UGA subs, so bama can sub him in.

Bulovas has actually been pretty solid on FG's. He sucks at PATs though for some reason.

He routinely gets it into the end zone.

Have you even watched any of our games this year?

As for the OP, I think UGA's WRs are better than Bama's secondary, and they could exploit those mismatches if the OL gives Fromm time.
