We did, yes, but not until Spurrier's 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th seasons.

Beamer is in year 5. His record at the same stage is better than Spurrier's.

Not sure anything in SEC surpasses Hogs firing Petrino.

Mullen needed to be fired as he ran the program into the ground. He benefitted from a real weak SEC East early at UF.

A school with a rolling NIL program where the players don't care how annoying the coach is would be perfect for Mullen. Maybe his firing mellowed him out but one of the constant critiques was how arrogant he was and his personality just turned off recruits and parents. Of course, NIL is the great equalizer.

We have Billy..He isn't arrogant like Mullen at all...ish. He seriously still thinks he is a good play caller.

Florida should just throw a bag at Ryan Day or his offensive coordinator Brian Hartline

Kentucky is probably the best job in the SEC

10 million a year just win 6 games get a Bowl and they are happy

Try your best to beat Tennessee haha

Wow . With all the terrible guys you have hired? muschamp, strong , napier, buttertooth etc... Mullen would have been fine in today's NIL world . So so recruiter doesnt matter if you can pay $$$. Mullen was easily the top of that weak group of hires.

Mullen did great with Mcelwains recruits and then starting to go downhill in year 4. Recruiting was horrible and he seemed to have total apathy, even laughing after a loss in season 4. Defense was also really bad.

As someone mentioned, the firing wasn’t the issue it was hiring Napier.

It's a Fulmer level fkup. And will lead to the same thing, 20 years of wandering in the desert.

Enjoy!

Huge mistake for Florida. Dude won 21 games in his first two years. Then won the East in his third year.

His predecessor won the East twice before getting run out of town halfway through his third season.

UF is getting exactly what it deserves right now.

Dude went 31-9 or some shite at Florida. Acting like they were better than that or something. Dan Mullen got State to AP #1 in 2014 which was a hell of an accomplishment on its own, Dak or not.

Mullen didn't care to recruit and refused to move on from ineffective coordinators. We weren't going anywhere with him.

Yeah that McElwain had all sorts of success at CMU.

Yall ran off O after he headed the best season you've ever had. You have Big Game Brian. Worlds better than Napier but you'll never win shite. Congrats, I guess.

He might have had a good record but he was clearly done with all of it and phoning it in at the end.
