Realistically, Arkansas had better talent and coaching than both Auburn and A&M going in to 2012. Losing Petrino hurts, but their talent is still better than what A&M has. Meanwhile, Auburn's schedule sets up much easier than A&M's.
Going in, I felt confident saying Arkansas was 3rd best and most likely a loss for A&M. Sans Petrino, I wouldn't be shocked to see them finish as high as 3rd or as low as 5th. All depends on how the players respond.
Same story with A&M. All depends on what Sumlin can do.

im say fourth. they will lose to bama,LSU and state. they beat down a&m and ole miss because they are handicapped and they probably can out talent aubie

I think they'll end up 3rd again. Losses to Bama, LSU and either A&M or SC. Finish 9-3.

Arky's got the talent to make a run at a good season. If they could get a win over Bama early and gain some momentum, who knows? This Petrino mess could have a unifying effect on the team.
