Nice bump, you even nailed the salary! Well done! It’s funny reading all the negative comments after your original post a week ago. I think Brian Kelly is going to kill it with the resources he has here. Unlike Riley, he’s obviously not afraid to compete with the best of the best either
He’s going to turn Florida into a monster and we’re going to have to deal with it for years to come. Dude will be routinely be pimp slapping Lincoln Riley’s bitch arse

re: Jordy Culotta Out at 104.5 ESPN

To hell with 104.5. Jordy was the best they had and it’s not even close. He is LSU through and through but calls shite like it is which is refreshing for listeners. If someone in the AD pressured them to fire him for the Pelini comments, that’ll tell us all we need to know about what kind of people are running the program. The fact that Pelini was hired without being interviewed in the first place tells you all you need to know.
Whether you support O or youre against him, I think 99% of us can agree that we’re not on the verdge of competing for championships, which is the reason we got rid of Les in the first place. We paid Les a truck load of cash to go away, which I was all for, so we could get back to competing for championships. Little did we know that “The Search” only had a Plan A & B but wasn’t willing to fight for either and would end up settling for someone that couldn’t get a job as a position coach a few year prior. All because he wanted to be here all along? Now we’re stuck having to watch our program being run in the ground by the good old buddy buddy club. Makes me sick to my stomach

re: Are we rooting for Bama today?

If ISIS had a team, I'd root for them over Bama
I agree 100%. I do believe it's time for a change but I respect and appreciate what Les has done for our university over the last 11 years. It will definitely be a bittersweet Sat night in Tiger Stadium for me. I hope our boys will send him out with a W, carry him off the field and we then hire someone that turns us back into the asskicking machine that we were not long ago.
Those numbers are certainly staggering and makes you wonder how in the hell BDP still has a job, but I agree that we need to keep this shite positive this week!

We're less than 48 hours away from the biggest game of the season with the team that we despise the most! Let's discuss LF running for about 200 and locking up the Heisman Sat night while knocking these entitled bastards out of the picture!

Every team has a weakness but now isn't the time to dwell on our own!

I agree tiger-kev. We were a qb away from being in the discussion for one of the greatest college football teams of all time. Especially after beating what 7-8 ranked teams? Most of which were blowouts.

Well just take a look at the Preseason All-SEC Team. 11 Tigers on there and 7 FIRST Teamers! That has to be a record high for us. I know all this means nothing at this point but it's nice to see us getting this much preseason love.

It pretty amazing when you think about the level of success that we've been able to maintain over the last 12 years. We've had a couple of dips but we've fielded some really great teams and I'm sitting here thinking this team could be the best we've ever had! We've won the SEC 4 times during this run and played for a 5th. Pretty impressive to say the least.

There could certainly be a strong case made for that 06 team. Man we were hitting on all cylinders at the end of that season. We set Notre Dames program back 5 years after the beating we gave them in the Sugar Bowl! Hell they still haven't recovered from it!

I agree, we have a talented group of WRs but other than OB none have really proven themselves yet. I do wish we had that 1 tall target like RR but if if these guys can step up then height won't matter that much. I'll take another Josh Reed any day! We have a lot of young talent at LB that I'm hoping can step up but we don't have a whole lot of experience there either. Other than that we're absolutely loaded IMO

Sunnydaze, that could certainly be the case. I guess the reason I feel that this team is better or more talented is because the player that hindered us for the last 4 years graduated! So even though Mett was on the team last year I feel much better about the most important position on the field this year. Lol

Most talented LSU team ever

Sorry if this has been discussed before but reading the thread about our plethora of running backs had me wondering, is this the most talented LSU team ever? I can't think of any other team that's been 2-3 deep at most positions. This is by far the best group of running backs as a whole that we've ever had, I was just wondering what you guys thought as far as the overall team.

People can say what they want about Les, but the man can recruit and no one can take that away from him. The best thing about it is there's no end in sight with the 2013 recruiting class shaping up to be one of the best in school history.

52 DAYS!!!!! :geauxtigers:

Spankum is spot on. The prices will rise until the renewal rate percentage starts to fall AND the waiting list dries up. I'm not sure what the current waiting list is but rest assure if people give up their tickets there are people waiting in line to take them. It does suck donkey balls but I'll be writing my check while I'm bitching about the prices too. Sucks for us middle class folks but it's nice to know that the demand to see our program is at an all time high. I would be interested in seeing a breakdown of the rest of the SEC and where our prices are compared to everyone else in league and country for that matter. I don't imagine we're the highest in the SEC even with the TAF fees.
I hope we hang on to the Juco WR, I think that kid is going to be a stud. However, I tend to agree with you on the TE situation.
"Also Les Miles and company are better at evaluating talent than the scout, rivals etc. Not really a knock on them as they evaluate everyone (or try to cough cough Jr College) with a staff about the size of only a handful. Our coaches actually deeply dissect each players game."

Very well said. I told somebody the exact same thing today. I trust that our coaches know more about evaluating talent and what kind of player they want for our system than a some guy that works for Rivals or Scout. You just have to have faith in our staff and they have done nothing to give us a reason not to trust them up to this point.

Someone posted a thread a few weeks back of the reactions that were on this board when guys like Mo Claiborne, TM7 and guys like that committed. Everyone was like, Who? WTH are our coaches thinking? haha////Our staff has it under control :geauxtigers:
