I'm going to naively assume you have truthfully only been on this board since 2017 (when I know you're actually an alter).
Prior to the 2010 season, sips were flooding this board attempting to preemptively shite on aggy in the event that we actually joined the SEC.
When the summer of 2011 started, it REALLY ramped up. They still haven't gotten over it and likely never will.
Even the Governor of Texas can't seem to stop getting in front of cameras to tell everyone how he wants to force the two schools to play.

Texas is brought up mostly by LSU fans and other fanbases trying to troll A&M. Sure Aggie fans respond.
To say that it is A&M fans who are insecure when a dozen or more Texas fans have joined this SEC site to talk about A&M is an interesting take...

I've noticed there's a certain hatred by Aggies towards LSU and Texas. I've been browsing their boards to get their team thoughts, since we're playing them this season, and every time ATM comes up they kind of just laugh at them for the most part (like big brother programs do).
But when mentioned on here, there's a frothing at the mouth by ATM. Makes you think about all the ATM screaming you see here about them being the premiere Texas program...

We rarely start threads about the B12 and/or UTex.
The reality: Other fan bases create those threads, and Ags respond—which of course is going to happen.
Same as if Bama fans started crap threads about LSU—the Tigers would post accordingly.
Trust me: Ags are ALL ABOUT this board ceasing to post about the horns.
They’re slowly taking over the place, and it stinks.
I honestly don’t get it, and it makes me want to stay away.

Just letting you know—that’s not our vibe.
Coming to the SEC was very appealing for many reasons.
