When your football team is struggling, is there a better school to play than Arkansas?

I expect Gus to get things back on track on Saturday and to give Auburn fans a glimmer of hope, until we lose it all over again when we play LSU in a few weeks. Thanks Arkansas for the cupcake.

As I posted in the score thread, this is Gus and Chad’s Super Bowl so I’m not sure why anyone is expecting anything less than a blowout. Gus can always get them up for this game no matter what. He’ll then be back in the good graces of the average Auburn fan to survive another season on the Plains.

Well I kinda see it like If we win we win, if we lose we still win by securing Gus’ livelihood. Bless his heart.

Will just pop in and save the entire thread before it's edited.

See you Saturday, Boog.

Isn't this kind of the opposite situation? You win, it better be a blow out or it's not good enough of a best down of a team still partying after its first conference win in a very long time. You lose and we'll that's just bad. The pressure is on your team, not ours. Our fans would love a victory but we like the direction the program and team is heading but know there is a lot of work to do and a loss to you guys is way more expected than most would say publicly. On the other hand, if you guys lose to us the buyout discussion starts up real quick again and things get interesting for Morris especially.

Gus is 0 for away from JHS against Bama, UGA, and LSU (I get that doesn’t apply to Arky). I know this is his Super Bowl game, but if AU plays like they did last week my son’s flag football team would beat them. I think the Hogs want to beat Morris to a pulp, so it would not surprise me in the least if Auburn loses by 10+.

Vandy is usually a good "pick me up" type game.

The game is at Auburn, or did it get moved?

Yes at Auburn. Doesn’t matter though. I have tried to hold on to Gus as long as I can, but at some point you have to change the diaper. Or in his case the bed sheets.

I got a feeling Auburn is in trouble this game. Arky is MUCH IMPROVED and feeling it. Auburn is struggling on offense and defense is not as good this year. Upset Special and Gus back on the hot seat.
