Just checking, while sharing a little-known fact.

Stassen doesn't include the 1901 victory of Auburn over LSU in their first meeting. LSU won in 1902 and then again in 1908 but then lost in 1912, 1913 and 1924 at which point Auburn led the series 2-4. LSU then went on to win 6 in a row evening up the series in 1927, 4-4. 6 of those first 8 games werre played in the state of Alabama.
So yeah, 1926 was the last time Auburn led the series at 4-3. They haven't led since. Wow. Call me a liar
Liar.
Auburn won in 1903. In 1926 Auburn led the series 5-3. LSU didn't tie it up until 1934.

All right a-hole
quote:Maybe you should try looking at multiple sources since you already included the "stassen was missing 1901 game" line in your previous post. They missed one, it's just as easy for them to miss another.
Now was I lying, or just using a bad source?
quote:Okay bud. Since this is so hard for you to comprehend without the use of stassen. You'd think you would have hit up google by now.
And still no one else has actually provided any other source.

3 of the first 6 results had the all-time record without missing games. Who knew searching the interwebz was so fricking difficult?

Instead of calling me a liar, why don't you just bring the facts? When did Auburn lead the series?
LINK
In the first 7 games (1901-1924), Auburn won 5... all by shutout. Through 1942, LSU led the series by one game (9-8-1). LSU then when on a 5 game win streak through 1980 to gain it's current margin of 6 games. The two team have split the 24 contests evenly since that point.

So you are telling me that in 40 years, basically, LSU and Auburn only played 5 times while being members of the same conference?
And LSU fans are bitching about SEC scheduling this year?
Posted on 6/11/13 at 11:36 am to DaleDenton
After '42, they didn't play again until '69.
