PAC's last natty was Zona in 97. Fifteen years. We've won four since then. We're third for most championships since 1985 behind the ACC and PAC. (Ahead of the B1G and Big 12 by a fair margin) Florida is the only school to win Football and Basketball in the same year (hell of an accomplishment, Gators) Which shows we can do basketball without compromising the other sports.
I'd say we're the second best conference right now. Though there's a huge gap between us and the ACC still. UNC's disaster notwithstanding.
