Oh, so your 4th down hail mary pass against Georgia last year that got deflected and fell into the arms of your receiver was a planned play, then? Got it.

Even you must admit you didn't type that with a straight face. Auburn's mascot should be a fricking leprechaun and the entire country knows it.

Should've had more flags than that.
I agree. I saw six blatant blocks in the back by Ole Miss players that weren't called.

His other thread was more informative.

What was unlucky for Auburn in that game was the officials giving UGA a TD on a play where their QB was obviously down before the goal line. The football gods fixed that egregious error.

Whether human error helped UGA or not is irrelevant. Every team gets bad calls that go for them and against them. South Carolina got screwed against you just last week. What if that had been rectified and they win the game through some miraculous, unplanned play? I bet you'd find that pretty damn lucky.

All we heard during Auburn's 2013 National Championship run was that Auburn won by luck, week after week (when, in reality, Auburn won by luck once - against Georgia).

YAAU and TAOM.
Good luck vs bad luck. Embrace it.

Trust me, if y'all had went through the bad luck we've been through since Dooley (announcers used to routinely call him snakebitten and that was an understatement), you would never bitch about being called lucky.
While it's not all there is to it, luck is a part of the game. Even teams that are talented as hell need it to get through the gauntlet of a football season and yes, that also goes championship winning teams.
Resenting the fact that you've been blessed by fortune smiling on you is silly.

They played a damn good game. I think the SEC office should have given us Uk or Vandy instead also.
