I'll go out on a limb and say LSU will never have a stretch of no national title since 1939 and as far as hogs go you will never win one in my lifetime

Considering this thread was startes by a shite talking aggie.... I'll say this, bama punk, seven is less than 12. And neither is as great as $56M.

We were SEC contenders last year.

We'll contend for a playoff spot next year.

What exactly are you asking?

Without JD, how many games do you lose this year?

Kinda hard to speculate. Perhaps we lose to Mizzou.

On the flip side, Jayden put up a lot of yards but he struggled a little against FSU and the 1st half against Arkansas. Nuss may not have been as timid and may have created more opportunities.

Really? Because we played in Atlanta, for an SEC title, you dumb count.

Really? Because this season, with the worst defense in recorded history, we finished the regular season at #13. Next year is a 12 team playoff, you dumb count.

I'm honestly curious what you are basing this on? Your defense should improve, because it can't get much worse. But without JD5, the offense will definitely take a step back. Nuss is solid, but he's not JD5.

Any LSU fan that thinks JD5 should win the Heisman, can't also believe that Nuss will maintain this same level of offensive play. They don't go hand-in-hand.

I agree w/ this. We should take a step back. So far House is still DC. Until that changes, I can't really comment on D. Our 2024 class is not so great, we're kind of all in on the 2025 class at this point.

Realistically, LSU needs 50% of Jayden's production from the next quarterback and 25% more production from the running game.

Fix the defense and you're back in business.

Another 50 years, that their cycle, like Auburn!

Because it’s 50 years between 2003 and 2007, and 50 years between 2007 and 2019.

Played is a bit of a stretch. You showed up and got the shite kicked out of you.

And you won't have a QB half as good next year and your defense will still suck arse. You dumb count.

When will A&M ever win the SEC west?

Never, considering that the West will no longer exist. Too bad for A&M and Ole Myth on never getting it done.

Who was in the SECCG and who wasn’t? Lemme guess, it matters this year but not last year. Bama fans.

LSU with their worst defense in NFL (edit: whoops, lol) history is 13. New defensive staff, gunslinger with 2 off seasons to work with Sloan who turned Jayden into Neo at the end of the Matrix, 2 full recruiting cycles for BK, and a 12 team playoff? They won’t miss the playoffs for the rest of Kelly’s tenure.

LSU’s only going to get better, and Sabaterno is just going to get older. His last title he will ever win is a Covid championship that no one remembers or cares about. It is a lot more fun on the way up than on the way down.

Next year is a 12 team playoff not 4.

Also offense isn’t just JD5. Basically all we’re losing is him and the receivers, which we grow on trees here.
