What has Texas done the last 15 years to suggest anything will change? The lost to Kansas last year
Just saying its another school with deep pockets they will have to compete with. Not just Auburn, but the rest of the SEC and it will impact the teams not named Bama and UGA the most.

Hey, it's just a game. It doesn't bother me that much.
I might have said something like that after sitting in BDS and watching Dubose lose to La Tech. But I was lying my arse off.

I haven't seen many AU fans claiming we are gonna make much noise this season. Yet here you are with Auburn on the brain a week and a half before the season starts.

I'm sure the Aubs were preparing something similar when they were one play away from losing to Georgia State at home last year.

And college football has changed dramatically since the 1980s and even from 10-15 years ago. Pat Dye came in at the end of Bear Bryant era and really did not have to compete with anyone in the 80s in the SEC. Now the SEC is about to expand with TX and OU which will knock AU down in the pecking order combined with NIL - I think AU's days of an SECC run every 3-4 years are over. Now it will be closer once a decade or more.
Look at who is going to have the long-term finances to compete with the big money people. Doctors and Lawyers are going to be losing out to the Tech People. That is where Bama is in trouble long-term, and Saban knows it.

Not going to lie. That’s a fair, sane and rational response. I am disappointed.

Seeing as every prediction I've ever seen you make since joining this site has been so incredibly wrong it's hilarious, it's almost a guarantee that Bama won't be "in trouble long term."
Thanks for the reassurance on something no one was worried about in the first place.

His contention that Auburn is better-placed than Alabama for success in the world of NIL is laughably stupid. He is able to hold two contradictory ideas in his head and believe both of them at the same time, to wit:
-Alabama has only been successful in the past because they've paid more money to recruits that anyone else
-Alabama will not be successful in the future because they won't be able to afford paying recruits the way other schools will
-Alabama has only been successful in the past because they've paid more money to recruits that anyone else
-Alabama will not be successful in the future because they won't be able to afford paying recruits the way other schools will

If AU was bad enough to be one play away from losing to Ga State then what does that say about “we wuz hurt” Alabama being one play away from losing to Auburn?

I never said y'all actually quit caring. I said y'all are the first to claim not to care when things go wrong. We all know Auburn fans are as eaten up with college football as the rest of us are. Y'all just like to pretend you aren't.
In other words:

Probably about the same thing it says about "National Champs" UGA getting blown away by Alabama in the SECCG.

Do it , and I will rebutt or admit I was wrong. You are the typical Cult member who can't come up with your own information.

Yes, you're definitely known around here as someone who is willing to admit when they're wrong.

I'm sure you have an insider source telling you that Tank Bigsby will be onstage next to Tim Cook during the next iPhone reveal tho.
