When Saban Eventually Retires, Who Would Replace Him?

Serious question to all you bammers.
Saban's getting old, he's been doing this for a while. Not saying he's gonna retire in the next couple of years, but it'll be here before you know it.
Who do you guys see taking over in the post-Saban era, whenever that starts?

A Bear Bryant/Nick Saban hybrid clone

Gene Chizit.. He will win with Saban's players.
Seriously I could see Kirby Smart coming back. Hopefully it will be five or six years from now so who knows who the hot coaches will be at that time.

Saban will never leave, retire, or die. Stupid thread.

That's who I keep hearing from the tahd fans back home.

Greg McElroy. He'll have had about 8 yrs under his belt coaching and will be a nice fit.

Saban has 5-10 more years. When he does retire from Alabama(and he will), I think we'll either take Smart or go after the hottest coach currently on the market at that time and make him the highest paid coach in the nation. Either way, we will be set for success in the future just like Saban left it set up for Miles to continue running his empire when he left LSU.

Damn near whoever we want. It should be a well-oiled machine, loaded with talent, in the best conference in America, with enormous pockets for salaries.
I honestly think that the spell of "hiring a Bama boy" is broken, after the DuBose and Shula debacles, and the success of Kent State's Nick Saban.

Swinney. They wouldn't even have to pay him.

Kirby Smart, an elite coach from a lesser program, or maybe with Alabama's luck, this guy will be available

Irrelevant, he's immortal.

Yeah, that would be awesome...I thought his Stanford teams were the most like an SEC team outside of the conference.

I think we have another 5 years of Saban coaching at Bama. I think Kirby Smart might be a coach in waiting if we can hold onto him long enough.
